A real high power speculation , I wonder how many westerners would understand it's dynamics pertaining to themselves and start searching inside.
A pinhole of light is sufficient guidance to start the travel towards the Ultimate Source of existence.

Does that mean if I "my consciousness" is no longer caught up in waking state objects, I can have access to every information in the universe? Theoretically at least.
yes, it implies it. that's why some artists can see some forms which normal people can't see.

Although it's someone's interrupting the for for us, I think that each person has their process of taking the information in. She's really not saying yes to him, but to Truth.
This lady has made this amazing video almost impossible to watch through with her constant interruptions

Yes that's what Mr. Spira teaches. Though most humans go through life assuming the physical world we sense and interpret as external is *actually* external. All we really have is our "knowing" of what we sense and believe. And all of that is internal . . . believe it or not.
The way Rupert interprets the poem reminds me of a child being really excited about something. The heightened voice, the glowing eyes, the smile. :)

Hello.I'm Japanese. And I'd listened a lot of his talks, still I have an expression I don't understand , that is....he says ''fainaitmind''which I can't make it out the meaning...I'm very glad if someone would tell me the meaning of it.
he is speaking of a "finite mind". As opposed to infinite awareness.

Shakespeare had it right ... the world is stage ... and we are in the ultimate costume (a body/mind) and the play goes on.
This is a topic which puzzles me a lot. What you say, is very inspiring, but still there are lots of questions and apparent contradictions in my mind.
If the infinite cannot know a finite mind and the finite mind cannot know the infinite mind, how is enlightenment possible or what is enlightenment, if not a simultaneous awareness of both?
Do we have to pass through the collective (un)consciousness, when we "travel" to our infinite
nature?
When we sleep and the focus widens, why don't we experience the infinite consciousness, but seem to lose consciousness instead? What distinguishes spiritual knowing from ignorance then, if it's not how focused the light of our awareness is?
In your analogy, there is no separation between minds, but the cones of light that seem to be necessary for consciousness to actually become aware are separate. What are these cones of light? Are they eternal, can two of them share the same mind, can they fuse or split? How could they be different from consciousness, if everything is consciousness? Can they evolve in some way, as they move from mind to mind, as the finite minds die and get born or is everything, we’ve learned lost after death? If not, where are the tendencies of the finite mind stored after death and is the cone of light permanently connected to them? What determines, which finite mind one cone of light is connected to? I mean, if we go to sleep or have a nondual experience, we don't recrystallize in another people’s minds or do we? Put differently, what keeps our attention focused on an individual mind, i.e. if it gets defocussed, will it include the content of other minds and what prevents it from contracting centered at a different mind? Is the separation between the streams of consciousness created by the individual cones light or by the finite minds themselves?
Does that mean, we can overcome individual destructive thought patterns, but collective destructive thought patterns we just have to accept? Is it then desirable at all to widen the focus to the point, where we become aware of all the conflicts of the collective consciousness? I mean, how is an individual mind supposed to liberate itself, if it has to embrace all of that without being able to change it? On the other hand, how can it liberate itself, if it has to deny all of those things?
Some questions are very hard to put into words, because language seems insufficient to capture the points.

Write your own story. It is not necessary to follow the same path as the others.
And on a practical note, check out MBTI or Socionics to understand yourself in this world
just a bit better. You may be an Intuitive or a Sensor but there are directions available
to help make your journey a little more fun during your ride on the wheel of fortune.

I discovered Rupert on the SAND conference you tube channel. The great take away from his talk, for me was: Time is consciousness objectified by thought. Space is consciousness objectified by perception.

At about 11:35, what I see in my inner eye, is that we are like bubbles of consciousness which have arisen out of the whole and since we are contained and encapsulated we are unaware of the whole or able to connect to other bubbles to know their entirety because we are all contained fragments ... the whole expressing as us.
What about Cosmic Unconscious ?
Osho has thrown light on it in one of his lectures : " From Sex to Samadhi " .

Yes, Consciousness becomes what it has as its object.
"single infinite medium of mind, out of which each of our individual finite mind coalesces" Here and in other places he seems to imply that the infinite awareness is common to all. Common how, the same experience of infinite awareness, but of a different body/mind, as with different people knowing and speaking the same language but the exact knowledge unique to each individual? or that awareness itself is a shared resource, like the air we are breathing? He seems to imply the latter but I don't get that. In reality, it seems that the experience of awareness must be unique to each experiencer the way seeing the same object is. It seems awareness must be a unique by-product of each body/mind, not something that exists on it's own outside of a being to experience it.

But there are states when that separation is not present - where there is no separate sense of identity promoting it. In sleep, in innocent enjoyment, in 'flow', between lovers, in deeply relaxed relationships, in myriad daily activities that we don't give specific focus to. These only become crystallised around the subject/object division when we interpret them with reference to our sense of separate self. It's our emphasis on interpretation that eclipses the common aspects of consciousness. When it seems incontrovertible that your awareness is individual to you, that's a perfectly valid observation, but only by virtue of an element of interpretation. If one gets into the habit of saying 'no comment' to that desire to interpret [in terms of separate awareness], the sense of separate being starts to dissipate, and the universal state of being returns.
There are states, there are ways of seeing, but he doesn't specify that. One can have a separate or connected sense of being, the awareness of it is only accessible to the one. Everything in one's awareness is connected and one, OK. Sensing another's awareness, contentedness or separation directly? It can feel that way, but if that's the claim, it needs some extraordinary evidence. Maybe it's just the way the audio is cut.

The problem is, how to use language designed to speak OF objects to convey the nature of being AS no object? The objective sense of things is woven by thought and makes reality seem divided, but thought is just the tip of an iceberg: Awareness simply as awareness is at the base, the first mark of consciousness, it's origin and therefore the umbilical to reality itself (assuming consciousness arises from reality and not some alien dimension!) It's only much later that the intellect composes a divided picture OF awareness, and decides that the picture came first.
I mean awareness simply as awareness.
And no doubt it still seems to be an object, with a context. Can you say what that context is? In dreams we observe the appearance of other separate awarenesses - are those observations trustworthy? In the context of the dream, yes, they are meaningful, but you have to wake up to see they are not REAL.
I had to go to read that poem. I ended up reading it three times. Just magnificent. He was tuned in, that’s for sure.
As a species, we are nowhere near ready to have a two-way relationship with the Collective Unconscious. Until we choose to wake up and get out of fear and desire based belief systems (self-limiting boxes for consciousness,) we will ignore the gaining of self-knowledge and self-mastery and continue having confusing dreams about being in school and taking tests that we don't even know what the subject is. (The KEY to understanding the collective unconscious is in working with prayer and dreams, but don't be surprised if your initial, self-interested, egotistical prayer gets a rude voiced dream response that says "You don't need my help!") That is a personal experience, but if you really want to understand what IT is, don't give up. It often expresses machine-like, business-like, and teacher-like responses, usually in symbol language, but symbol language is learnable, and if you commit to same, you are at some point down the road likely to wonder if you're actually connecting to the mind of Creation. My answer is simply "I think so, but I don't know."
The stars are there even though we cannot see them in the day. But...that is in the dream. Einstein decided (in error) that the moon was still there even when we are not looking at it. That is Einstein's dream, which I share with him. But wait....But wait..... Really there? Does only just the concept of stars in the too-bright daytime sky make them actually there even when I can't see them - when I am not aware of them - am not actively experiencing them in this field of vision....? ;) Whose dream is this anyway?
Rupert...you have memories stored that you are not at present knowing, they are not recalled. They are in your sub-conscious, they are not at, present, known by your conscious mind. First Rupert, understand what is consciousness...consciousness is knowing something...consciousness is conscious of something!!! It is an ability of the Absolute Self, a Shakti (ability). The Absolute also has the ability of being objective, of being known or intuited. When the two abilities interface (samyoga) we have consciousness....I Am...Consciousness always has a subjective and objective side or aspect. "I" without "Am" is unknown...Am-ness is the objective aspect of the pure I-Am. This I-Am is called Mahat-Tattva-cosmic consciousness. Prior to this "moment" of consciousness there is only the Self with it's knowing ability (chit shakti) and it's ability to be known (achit shakti or Prakriti) in a potential state. I-Am is the first and most subtle point of consciousness and is universal. In its objective aspect is carried all the memories (samskaras) from previous moments of consciousness, and from it everything unfolds. From consciousness in a clarified predominate state proceeds the instruments of knowledge, the reflective mind and the five senses. With a slight increase in the admixture of kinesis and inertia, there unfolds the instruments of action. This pole of clarity predominance is called vaikarika, the kinetic movement in consciousness is call taijasa and the inert state of consciousness is called Bhutadi. In Bhutadi, clarity of consciousness is reduced due to its predominance of inertia. And here in the Bhutadi aspect, due to it's resistance to change (inertia) there is stored all the data from previous un-foldments or openings (unmesha) of consciousness. This is the cosmic memory, the storehouse of all latent impressions. This is the collective unconscious, called, by the Yogachara Buddhists, Alaya (not dissolved) and modern depth psychology calls it the objective psyche.. The Bhutadi is stemming from the objective pole of consciousness and the vaikarika is stemming from the subjective pole of consciousness, while the taijasa is the kinetic aspect in consciousness. When consciousness (chitta) is free of all objective content, which in-forms it, then it resumes its inherent condition (svarupa) and is one with and as the pure ability of consciousness only...the Self!
