Thank you youtube for recommending your channel to me! I got my first weeks this year and struggled to find a use for it because I had another planner already in use. But for 2024, I'm making weeks my main planner! It really is perfect. 😊 I use my tabs the same way you do, so I usually put the monthly tab wherever the 1st day of that month is. It makes more sense to my brain. I also have mine in my TN, so I would love to see your whole TN setup!! I need to redo mine for 2024. ❤

I always go by which has more days of the month to decide where the month “switches”!! So if February has 4 days, that week is February. If it has 4 days January, it’s January!!
I open so the tab is on the right, so even if there’s only 1 day in a new month in that week (on Sunday) I put it on that page. I hold the tab with my right thumb and turn to the page with my left hand, maybe that has something to do with it! I never even thought about doing it the other way! 😂
I've been mulling over how I open with my tabs, and I really don't have a "standard" it seems. Sometimes I open TO the tab, and sometimes I open USING the tab. Huh. 🤔 Maybe that's why I don't like tabs. I absolutely LOVE the movable tabs though! Genius! I've been using tabbed pencil board/bookmark like things, but they fall out all the time. This solves so much frustration!

But moving to Taiwan made it worse because they have so much cute stationary for relatively inexpensive, and a lot of it is from Japan. Have you always loved stationary? Hello 🤗 uuu ok so In my Hobonichi Weeks I find it easier to carry with me for my groceries lists, LDC morning worship notes, date night plans, in detail service plans, vacation stuff too. It’s much easier for me to keep my Cousin (work stuff) separate from my personal life because I have found it hard to balance work and personal life. I get too excited with Etsy shop ideas so I have found that having 2 planners keeps my brain on check 🤗

I put the tab on the first day of the month as long as there are more than one day left in the week. Does that make sense? If there is only 1 day for the new month then I put the tab on the next page.
I am still debating because I REALLY want to start my planner in January, so currently finding a way I can use the rest of the weekly pages for 2023. Maybe I can do some journaling?? 😅 Do you have a spring start as well for 2023?
@simplypanux I do. It's maddening to be redundant, however I think I'll use the 2023 for scripture writing until it's done in March or...just close it and archive it. I'm leaning on starting fresh & and new, though. It has everything in it. It's just me & my husband as the children are grown. We are both starting a healthier lifestyle with exercise and healthier eating habits, so maybe starting fresh might be better. 🤷🏼♀️
