Really like your tutorials. Even if it is not about a function that I use, I find them informative .. also, no long sales pitch which is most refreshing! Please keep them coming. Thank you
This is really helpful, thank you very much. Although is there a way to shoot a true vertical video rather than cropping a horizontal one? I’ve been trying to film reels using the same setup, but it’s really hard to centre the video without cropping out much of the background.
Only true way is to record vertical - with your camera (and sensor) turned vertical. All the editing apps out there - Final Cut Pro, Premiere, etc. - crop a landscape frame to create vertical video.
Your imovie tutorials are fantastic. Could you please tell me if imovie can edit 360 video from the likes of a GoPro Max 360 camera? I dont think it can but better to ask an expert.
Hi! Great video. Thank you. I want to make a preset for vertical and horizontal. But whenever I change one or another they both change. Is it possible to make a profile for both? Thanks in advance :)
That's something I'll never do, vertical videos (like youtube shorts) are just annoying and pointless. Unfortunately, people follow these weird trends without thinking about it.
Happy to see you back! - Great video as usual. Thank you.
Thanks!

Don't believe so. Think you need FCP for that.

And you're using separate profiles and scene collections for each one?
@@MacVideoMagic Yes I am.. Maybe I should upgrade the software to see if it makes a difference.
what version of obs is this because i can't modify the output. it just gives me a dropdown list
Why wouldn't you turn your camera sideways so that you could record in a more native resolution instead of zooming in?
Yup, you could do that. This is just another option.
@@MacVideoMagic How we can do that?
ITS NOT VERTICAL) Its cropped horizontal

Well, it's there if you need it. 🙂
@@MacVideoMagicI am sorry, it was just a reflex on my part, I didn't mean to criticise your good tutorials.
