When I saw the box from Hawaii I assumed it was likely the most expensive box they've ever received.. simply because of the cost of living in Hawaii. Stay safe out there.. Try to keep Oprah from burning down your house.
@@lesscoRydenI thought the fire started because of overloaded electric and cable lines!!?? Seeing as you live there and I live in Canada then I guess you know best. Why all the hate to Oprah??❤🇨🇦❤🇨🇦❤
@@jennifermassie7227 There have been investigation opened up regarding Oprah. She hired the fire department to keep the fire off her land, which meant that they couldn't save people who were actually in dangers lives. She's been buying up land like crazy on the Island, like more than 1,000 acres in recent months. The first words out of the governors mouth was about buying all the land from the native owners. There were roadblocks preventing people from escaping during the fires, which is one of the reasons so many people didn't escape. Also, a typical fire burns around 600 degrees, yet somehow it was hot enough to melt aluminum which has a melting point of 1,200 degree's which is a pretty good indication that accelerates where used. Oh yeah... and there seems to be a huge government coverup happening. There is just a bunch of really odd stuff that the media refuses to talk about which.. again.. cover up. Why .. why would people who aren't guilty try to cover their tracks?
@@lesscoRyden lol, right?? I love it here, but it's so expensive. I would have sent some arare or kakimochi. As for the fires, it's interesting that Oprah hired a private firefighting team weeks before the fire as well as the fact the only area that burned were the areas with native populations.

Hawaii was once a sovereign nation led by kings and queens. In the late 1700's, King Kamehameha I, flew the British flag given to him by King George III as a token of friendship. However, during the War of 1812, the Hawaiian King flew the American flag over his home to placate American interests. Yet this angered the British officers that were part of the King's court and they demanded he remove the flag. So King Kamehameha commissioned a new flag that incorporated elements of the Union Jack and Old Glory. Hawaii doesn't just like macadamia nuts, they produce over 40 million pounds of mac nuts a year. Hawaii is also one of two places in the United States where coffee can be grown.
Pixies are just like turtles. We had both in Chicago. My grandfather worked at Ferrara Pan candy company for 50 years. Ferrara Pan made Red Hots, Lemonheads, Boston Baked Beans, Atomic Fireballs, and Jaw Breakers. They also made Jordan Almonds Chocolate covered almonds, and gummies. They were to world's largest supplier of non-chocolate candies in the world. They were sold to Ferrero Rocher.

The first contact Hawaiians had were with English sea captains. ,The earliest foreign enclaves were English traders and missionaries who basically took over the islands as "advisors" to the King. The last Hawaiian Queen's father was a Scot, and she was raised in England. She traveled to get support to keep them independent, but after returning to the Islands , she died just barly into her 20s. And then the United States annexed the island. There are some excellent movies about her life and dedication to her people. At the time of annexation, most Americans had never seen a Hawaiian and the newspapers of that time ran editorial cartoons depicting them as black people with kinky African hair.
Hawaii has the best coffee by far. We live in Utah and my oldest son buys the Hawaiian coffee. When we lived in Tennessee, Florida, and Georgia, we ordered it because it is so flavorful that you don’t want to buy the other coffees. We get whole beans and grind them at home.
I know. I've been to Hawaii over a dozen times and many times I've mail-ordered their pure Kona coffee (in the other 49 states "Kona blend" coffee is only 10-30% Hawaiian Kona beans). It has a bold, interesting spirit to it that no other coffee has, probably from being grown in fresh volcanic soil.

I am writing this to inform you that peanut butter will keep for years after the "expiration date". I come from a large family that was economically challenged. I am the oldest of 4 children and my parents are were also feeding 3 neighbor kids who's mother neglected them to buy alcohol. We ate a lot of peanut butter and jelly growing up. My mom would buy it by the case when it was on sale and we would often eat peanut butter that was as long as 3 years passed the date. Sometimes the peanut oil would separate and you would have to mix it back in but as long as the jar was sealed it would still be good. I once found a can of Planters peanut butter in my mom's basement that was 8 years old. When opened up we had to mix it back together but it was still edible. They stopped makig Planters peanut butter about 6 years ago and it was actually the best peanut butter ever. It was just not as widely known as other brands because it was more expensive so they stopped making it due to low sales.
Your mom is a good woman. Taking on three extra kids when she already had four, and “economically challenged” besides, tells me a lot about her character. ❤️

Since these are time sensitive, and you're about to make a trip to the US, I am going to ask if you will be coming anywhere near Amarillo, Texas? If you are, you might make a detour, and I'll let you have a jar of the jelly. If not, I'll bubble wrap the heck out of one of them and send it to you in NZ. Respond to this comment, and we'll see if we can coordinate.
I love it when Denzi makes the flags wave when you hold them up. It's so cute. Also, I sent my boyfriend a 5 pound bag of the Albanese gummi bears. They're the best!
Kilo has found his groove....It's perfect on him!
Being from Hawaii, I love this! Just wish I wasn't so poor, because then I'd have sent ya something 😂
I am also in the same boat as you, poor, as I would love to be able to send something to your family. It’s great seeing all the great things people send to you. I love watching your excitement when you experience new tastes or gifts to enjoy.
Just want to say how much I enjoy seeing a Family together doing things together thank you. Ron from Edmond Oklahoma.
Poor Kylo - he is so excited when packages come. He must be used to getting treats from the States. He is so fun to watch.
My uncle lives in Hawaii on the big island and he has his own macadamia nut trees in his orchard
Sam: whoa that was salty
Denzi: just like your attitude 🎤🤣😂
Mineral Wells WV represent! My home too!
I’m from Ohio but work In Parkersburg WV where Mr Bees is made! Mineral Wells in in the same county! I personally find them very salty but the sour cream and onion and the bbq are pretty good! They also have a pepperoni roll flavor out right now as well. So cool to see a local box make it all the way over there!! ❤
Epic boxes! Well done to everyone! 👏👏🇺🇸
had no idea Ma was too in charge... the reactions speak volumes.
just because the date on the can/package says best used by date... doesnt mean it's bad 2 months after that date....not much processed food expires by printed date. ...except for dairy...
I love your videos and I had a good laugh about Atlanta mimicking Sam at the end. I’ll definitely send you guys a box here soon from Ohio.
The mimic was the best part.
Hope your having fun in the U.S.A. stay safe and be careful love y'all 💖💯
Glad to see the cereal got to you before it expired. I ordered it from a distributor in Auckland.
West Virginia finally on the map!
The mustard relish is excellent on hot dogs and burgers.
WV represent...finally!!! Yaaaayyy!!! The seasons are beautiful here!! Come visit!!❤
I have a lot of ancestors from Cookeville, Tennessee. Put a smile on my face.
How cool WV reaching all the way to New Zealand love seeing anything from my home state ❤ wild n wonderful
Wow that’s cool to find out where some candies are made. Your grandfather worked there for 50 years. It must have been a great company to work for.
@@deannaschrock5738 it was a family owned business, but I think the 3rd generation wanted to just cash in because they saw how much work it was.
My grandfather loved it and they loved him. I toured the factory a couple of times and it was always good when Grandpa brought home "work".
You guys NEED a library room lol! The amount of generous people who have gifted many books, memorabilia, medals, etc may be too much without a room for it
West Virginia - I was born and raised there. The people are amazing
Please...don't let you dog eat those Macadamia nuts. On the NO list of foods for dogs. Loved this video as I do all of them!!
Relish is typically used to season hot dogs and fish (relish is like bits of pickles and you can mix it with mayonnaise to make tartar sauce for fish
Wonderful wholesome content. Love your channel Fam!
Alabama in the stream and can’t wait to see it all about your trip to America and any upcoming content. Thanks for the entertainment
I LOVE Peter Santenello and all of the amazing videos he makes. Also shout out to WV! I was born and raised there.
Best rice Krispy recipe I make is 8 ounce cup of smooth peanut butter and 1 package of butterscotch chips melts together. Once melted add the Rice Krispies and put in the refrigerator to set. Cut into pieces and enjoy.
Luaus are amazing. highly suggest going especially inquire if you can get Kalua Pig & Poi, 2 "must have's" (I have not been for over 23 years. but I still remember the flavors like it was yesterday.
I see a vid from you folks like this and it's instant, "OK, I'm watching that." :)
Sam, it a jar lid is hard to open, get your fist and bop the top of the jar. This will help break the vacuum making it easier to open. You may have to do it couple of times, but it does work. ❤
Another way to help open a jar for the first time: hold a table knife by the blade & whack the handle on the edge of the lid a few times. I learned this whrn I was a child. It works!
Iowa boy here. I think we had an accurate presentation from the McKinney's. Thanx guys!
Atlanta I know you aren't going to make it to Hawaii this trip but you can still get your Dole Whip. There is a restaurant called Hawaiian Bros that has locations in both Fort Worth and Dallas. I understand it is not completely authentic Hawaiian food but it is delicious and they serve Dole Whips. Hope you all have a great trip.
ENJOYED the State Box Reveals.
❤❤❤❤🐶the Family👍
Try the Mint Meltaways FROZEN. I don't know why it makes them better, but it does--Same with Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies!
Grew up in Columbus, Indiana (not Ohio) 😉, yes, we love our sweet treats here. We also have an awesome little vacation/visit town called..... Nashville, Indiana! Especially popular in the Fall (because of the leaf colors) since it is close to the beautiful Brown County State Park.
Yay, Hawai’i!!!!! I love Kailo’s outfit. ❤🥰😍 So cool!!! ALOHA!!!
Always so fun to see what people send you guys and watch your reactions to them. What great stuff you got! Bummer some of it had to be removed, but lots left. Hope you guys are having a fantastic trip and I can't wait to see those videos!
In 1793, British Captain George Vancouver presented a British flag to the Hawaiian King Kamehameha I as a sign of friendship and goodwill.
I got chills and got way too excited when you got a box from Cookeville TN that's where I am from and thought it was so amazing!! 😂❤
Hi NZ Family...just wanted to say that the Mallo Cups you got are made in my hometown of Altoona, PA. I grew up in a house where the factory's parking lot now is!!
YAY IT'S KYLO!! FINALLY!!
Macadamia nuts and kona coffee are Hawaii's major exports.
So great to see so many wonderful and thoughtful boxes. Thank you so much for sharing.
Wow 🎉❤Kylo looked soooo cute 😍
WOW I have the Great American cookbook myself, hope you enjoy it as much as I do Atlanta
I have a casserole dish just like that one, the rubber lid is very handy for putting the leftovers in the fridge or safely transporting something tasty to a family event or pot luck!😁😁😁
I am sure Iowa has grown n some areas but the heart of Iowa was ALL corn fields from Des Moines to Cedar Rapids according to my eyes from the airplane in 1998
13:59 whatchamacallit is my favorite candy bar ever!!!
I watch Peter Santenello all the time. Learning a lot about my own country. We have driven cross country (years ago). We drove across Nebraska , when you enter Iowa from the west it is green and hilly.
Do they have South Carolina?? I don't see they had a sticker for it-
I am writing this to inform you that peanut butter will keep for years after the "expiration date".
Hi N.Z.fam, I❤your content🎉Thank you for staying true to your convictions.Wanted to let you know expiration date does NOT mean throw out!it means sell by basically. Its like having outlet store w/marked down breads,or cookies,etc..still eat.even meds, look up😮😅 Congratulations on your U.S.A.tri💓💖💝🤟
Water is different because it has expiration date not for the water but for the plastic container giving off toxins.
Expire date does mean tho out. What you’re thinking of is best before date.
Almost heaven, West Virginia
Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah River
Life is old there, older than the trees
Younger than the mountains, growin' like a breeze
