Last year, one of my known student, got 318 & JEE advance rank within 12k, opted for IIT ( newly opened ones) ; this year, looks 25-30% of the students scoring 290+, unable to get even 97 percentile...As no decrease in cut off !!
Were the Bitsat 2024 Q. papers so easy ?

I never said none!!! I anticipate around 25-30% ...as this year very very less decrease in cutoff in Bits!
Leaving/ withdrawing- all depends upon options available & I think, such movement is normally among 25% ( as always drop in cutoffs) of students ..
This year, as people are saying, even during Iteration 1, 98% seats got filled and later, negligible withdrawal ! This makes me to think on the fairness of this year exam..
I am not doubting on the merits of candidates joining Bits but a few % suspicious ...

In my option, ignoring a few exceptions, students scoring 290 plus in BIts should hit more than 97 percentile in JEE ..( this I am saying as per last a few years results- on the basis of a few students, I know..
Most of them doing well in JEE / Advance have done very well in Bits & other entrance exams too!
This is NO rule but a rough estimated coorelation !! For real facts, BIts data too less!!
