I'm a relatively new kpop fan (1 year), but I can clearly say that this group is for sure one of the Kings. I like the music now, just I hate that I missed this era. It makes me sad to see such good style and music, and know that I missed it. :(

Mirotic album turns 12 years old today. It's also the last Korean album of TVXQ as 5. Yoochun, Jaejoong & Yunho were 22. Junsu was 21 (he turned 22 in December 2008). Changmin was 20. Time sure flies so fast. Changmin is getting married soon. I feel so old. Happy 12 years, Mirotic! (released in September 26, 2008)

The fact that TVXQ isn’t called “Kings of kpop” baffles me. Reading their achievements and how they internationally paved the way and so many kpop fans don’t realize that, is truly sad. Pls, let’s give the title and credit where it’s due. Edit: a lot of your are telling me that they are indeed the kings/gods, but keep in mind that the majority of the kpop community only considers BigBang as the kings and the ones to break internationally when that’s not true. Sadly, TVXQ don’t have that title from kpop fans but rather the media and their fans. Kpop fans only give that title to BigBang.
it's all because SM broke them apart with the slave contracts and it became taboo in the media to talk about the group as 5 members, so many new kpop fans don't know how big their impact was. it's really shitty because TVXQ was a record-breaking phenomona back in the day

I was a huge fan in 2008 - 2018 (when Jonghyun's death destroyed my mind) i return now in 2024 to listen kpop again and SM has debuted Riize, and i decided to follow them, cuz somehow they reminds me old DBSK. But knowing SM entertainment i have to prepare myself for future stress...

Its 2021, and MIROTIC is still the most covered kpop song in history. All idols actuay covered this. You cannot be a kpop idol without covering this atleast once in your life.
The fact that TVXQ isn’t called “Kings of kpop” baffles me. Reading their achievements and how they internationally paved the way and so many kpop fans don’t realize that, is truly sad. Pls, let’s give the title and credit where it’s due.
Edit: a lot of your are telling me that they are indeed the kings/gods, but keep in mind that the majority of the kpop community only considers BigBang as the kings and the ones to break internationally when that’s not true. Sadly, TVXQ don’t have that title from kpop fans but rather the media and their fans. Kpop fans only give that title to BigBang.

I respect every act from SM entertainment, but TVXQ!5 was THE gem of kpop history. 5 amazing vocals. 5 handsome faces and fantastic discography. I was a huge fan in 2008 - 2018 (when Jonghyun's death destroyed my mind) i return now in 2024 to listen kpop again and SM has debuted Riize, and i decided to follow them, cuz somehow they reminds me old DBSK.
But knowing SM entertainment i have to prepare myself for future stress...
They’re really something else. I knew about them after they got separated, but it’s better late than never. I’m just enjoying seeing them these days, especially now that Junsu and Jaejoong are back in public broadcast and RUclips😊
