Hi Jyl, I guess Penny has a twin right here in Phoenix. Penny has read this but I am answering. Thank you so much for watching. More to come. Floss Tube #2 is up! Happy Stitching! Angie
You have to tell me about your bird. I NEED to see him/her or at least pics. You must give your little stitching buddy recognition. They are so much joy.
I have two male cockatiels, Bee Bee (15) and Buddy (3). They are truly a delight. I will see if we can add some images of them in the next video. Happy Stitching!
Fellow Zonie too. Love your saying and I have some lunch box quilts kitted up! Very fun putting a face to the product. Can’t wait for the next video’s!

Hi from northern Minnesota! Glad I found you two. You make a perfect Ed and Johnny : ) I’m a quilter and a stitcher and EPP. Sew my quilts during the day and stitch evenings while I watch TV with my Mr. Looking forward to your next floss tube!
Hi Pat! Welcome from Arizona! I (Angie) have several EPP kits, but need to get started on them. Just not enough time in the day. I stitch at night with the Mr. too while watching TV. Quilt on the weekends. More to come soon!
You two are a hoot!!!!!! It's love a t first sight!!! And then you live in my most favorite city in the whole world. I lived there off and on for five years, I so miss it. Please come back soon you both are delightful!!!! Can't wait!
Hi Cheryl, I'm so glad you found our Floss Tube and watched. I have my scissor pin too! Hope to see you all again next August or sooner! Happy Stitching!-Angie
I started in the 90's but stopped stitching for the longest time I kept all my CrossStitch magazines which I would pull out once in awhile. So last year I Googled a few of the designers and found JBW Designs had a 'floss tube channel'.... What's that?? I was hooked, back into stitching full on. My how times have changed!! You ladies are great, I'll be watching for you and if I see you at a retreat, I'm sitting at your table! Kathy from 🇨🇦 xx
Hi Kathy, Same here, I know I have a box of 90's cross stitch magazines here somewhere. Penny and I both returned to cross stitch during Covid. We are now hooked too! A lot of fun new charts and gadgets. You can sit with us anytime! Thanks for watching! Happy Stitching.
I enjoyed your video very much. This is your first one and it was awesome. That quilt is going to be gorgeous!!! I will be waiting for your next one!!!
Hi Deborah, Quilters and Cross Stitchers seem to always go together. There are so many great Aida fabrics and colors now than when we started years ago. Stitch on whatever makes you happy! No stress!
Hi Linda, Thanks for watching and we will be back. Probably at the end of the month when we can coordinate our schedules. Libby was a good sport about the story. Happy Stitching!
Wow. Your story is my story. I lived in Phoenix area since 1989. I quilt and cross stitch. I came back to cross stitching about two years ago and it has been a life saver. Cheri is one of my great friends from the Attic as well as Caroline, Ms. Flossy, and of course Jean. It was my first time at Summer School and I got to meet Brenda and Laura and Sherry, the Colorado Cross Stitcher. I have moved to Texas recently, but am in AZ so much some days I don't remember moving. Maybe some day we can meet, or maybe at the next Summer School. Good luck on your FlossTube adventures.
Hi Charly, We just love everyone at Attic Needlework. Good thing its a 45 minute drive or we'd be there way to often. Wow we were all at Summer School together! We plan on going to Summer School next year if we can get a spot. It would be great to meet! Hope you watch more episodes! Happy Stitching
Hi Penny and Angie. Congratulations on Flosstube #1. It was great and everything was in the right direction. I look forward to your upcoming videos. Happy stitching and happy flosstubing from Linnie of the SABLE Stitchers ❤️🪡
What a great great great first floss tube this was!!!! Loved every minute...don't take too long of a break before your second one!!!!!! You two are so much fun to watch!!!!!
Heard Summer School was chockfull of charts and goodies, I bet Jean enjoys hosting them. Oh, Violet & Verses. Wow 150 attendees!!! W. Wallace is very pretty. Cross Stitch w/beads will be Nice. I added tiny button to flower's center of my Life's a Stitch. Cute finishes. Agree, too hot here to think of Fall stuff, and Stores even have Christmas items out too. Linda V. is very nice! Good Job on your first video!!! No Plastic, haaaaa!
Hey, great great floss tube. I really enjoyed it. You can't finish what you don't start should be your first cross stitch design. I love it. Please keep doing these floss tubes!!
Hi ladies!! Great first video - Loved it! I'm also a retired elementary teacher, but I taught 5th and 6th graders. My hat goes off to our lower grade teachers; you folks set the foundation on which I continued to build. Many years ago, I dabbled in quilting small pieces but haven't touched it in years. I'm totally cross stitch now, but still enjoy seeing the work of quilters so enjoyed all of your video. Till next time - Steph from NJ
Dear Steph, teaching taught us patience and organization so I believe that is why we love those quilt pieces to organize and stitch together and all the cross stitching to spend hours creating. Happy stitching.
I am having a great time watching you ladies as I am new to floss tube but definitely not new to cross stitch my hundreds of books and pattern magazines say so..lol,keep up the great work‼️A big hello from Canada 🇨🇦😍
You beautiful ladies are so much fun! Enjoyed your first Flosstube. I live in East Mesa...going to check out The Attic. I am a newbie, just started my first stitch project. I quilted many years ago. Can't wait to see your quilting too! Fantastic job 👍
Hi Michele, Thanks for watching. You will love Attic Needlework. Plan on spending some time at the shop. Lots to see. We are thrilled to "meet" another AZ Stitchy Friend! More to come next week!
You two are so fun and a breath of fresh air! Penny, you remind me of Georgette from the Mary Tyler Moore Show! So Sweet! Angie, love your soft quiet voice! Yes, please include quilting as well as xstitch. Good luck I’ll be watching and catching up on your other episodes!
Great first floss tube your stitching is right up my alley. Lived in Tuscan many years ago would love to move back not a big fan of winter here in South Dakota.
You guys are such an inspiration for us all to start a flossTube!!! Y’all are just 👍 GREAT!!! I hope to meet y’all one day! Love your stitching and banter!
You ladies are a hoot! #Cantfinishwhatyoudontstart is a life motto. Great first video. Don't worry about all these supposed rules. I know lots of flosstubers that eat and leave things in plastic. Be yourselves. Looking forward to your next one. PS if you are at stitchCon in June I will definitely come say hi!
Hi Jo, Thanks for watching! We had a lot of fun filming. More to come soon. I will not be at StitchCon in June. I have a convention for work about the same time. Not sure of Penny's plans. Happy Stitching!
Hey eclectic stitchers! You are so sweet and adorable. I too am in AZ (Surprise)! But I haven't met any other Stitchers. I hope to meet you both one day. Hugs.
Hi Jan, Thanks for finding and watching us. We have been hearing from so many Arizona (Phoenix area) Stitchers. May be someday we can all meet up. Happy Stitching!
Hi ladies! I’m so excited to see some Arizona stitchers starting a Flosstube, yay! I’m in Peoria. I still haven’t made it out to the Attic yet it’s probably a forty minute drive for me but I will soon. I’ve just returned to stitching after a very long break. When I had my daughter 23 years ago I got into photography and papercrafting. Im enjoying the stitching community so much. I’ve never quilted but I’m starting to become interested so many stitchers quilt. Anyways great job on the video I hope to see another one from you soon! Take care!
Hi Shawn, We are "meeting" so many Arizona Stitchers. It's so great. The Attic is a drive for us too, but well worth it. Don't be in a hurry when you visit the Attic. We have both done some paper crafting too. Just not enough time to do it all! #2 will be coming at the end of the month. We hope you will stay tuned. Happy Stitching!
Great 1st video!! Yep, you have both fallen down the rabbit hole!! YES, your lettering is going right; not backwards!! HAPPY STITCHING TODAY AND EVERYDAY IN 2022!!
Loved how you kept mentioning the backwards filming - made me chuckle. Thought you did a wonderful job. I live in western PA. If I lived closer, I would definitely sit at your table at summer school - sounds like you were the cool kids and your table gifts were awesome! Enjoyed the video and looking forward to the next. 😊
Thank you for watching! Well, if you make a mistake, just roll with it. Luckily we were able to fix it in post production. If make it to Arizona someday for the Attic Summer School you are welcome at our table. We had so much fun! Happy Stitching!
And we would welcome you to our table. Thanks for your lovely compliments. I can imagine you are already enjoying autumn weather changes. Here in Phoenix our weather is getting a bit cooler. Yeah!
Hi Vicki, Thank you for your kind words and for watching. We just may run into you at the Attic. Lucky you to live in Mesa so close. I live in north Phoenix about 45 min, but worth the drive! Happy Stitching!
What a great video. Loved seeing all your stitching and quilting - I do both too, as well as knitting and crocheting!! I love being retired. Thank you and look forward to your next one.
Hi Susan, Thank you for watching! We plan on showing a little quilting from time to time. Wow, knitting and crocheting too! Nice that you are retired with the time to relax and stitch!
Great first floss tube!!!!! I thoroughly enjoyed you both. I am looking forward to number 2. Thanks for your cheerful approach to floss tube and cross stitching, you both are a hoot. ❤❤❤
Love your floss tube! I am just getting back too after years. I am a retired Kindergarten teacher and started sewing little things and cross stitching. I too am just starting a project on linen. I also knit.
Kate. I too am retired and taught kindergarten most of the years. Enjoy all your fun projects. The more you do, the more you will want to do. Happy stitching.
Hello from Chino Valley, AZ! My mom and I cross-stitched in the '80s then she moved on to quilting, and I was busy raising kids and juggling a career. I was in Ogden, UT for a work meeting a few months ago and was shocked to find a cross-stitch shop right across the street from my hotel! I didn't know people were still doing this! I have my mom's stash of floss and silk ribbon, and that little shop with all of its beautiful framed samplers inspired me to make something for my stepdaughter, who is getting married in October. I will be watching some Floss Tubes! So happy to stumble across your channel--look forward to more! Since I have to drive to Phoenix once a week for work, maybe I'll take a couple of hours and visit The Attic!
Hi Mara, Welcome back to cross stitch and to our floss tube channel. I know the shop you are chatting about in Ogden, Shepherd's Bush. Beautiful store and the owners are so lovely. I have been fortunate to shop there twice. Yes, when you are in Phoenix do visit Attic Needlework in Mesa. It's a beautiful shop full of samplers. Happy Stitching on your stepdaughters wedding cross stitch!
You guys are too cute! I love seeing all your stitches, and I've definitely added a few more to my list. Those Ladybugs are my favorite! Can't wait to see more of what you guys share :)
What a great first video! You two are naturals. I’m all subscribed with bell pushed and will be watching for your next update!❤ On a personal note, when you two started talking I thought to myself “these ladies are Westerners”… maybe I know them! Right on the first count, wrong on second! I’m from Utah, practically next door neighbors! Looking forward to knowing you both better!
So much FOMO! (Fear of missing out) I’ve never been on a stitching retreat 😢 I would love to go to summer school next year! You two are lovely and funny! I love how the stitchy community supports each other! Best of luck! You will be great!
Hi Victoria, I've been learning that there are cross stitch retreats all over the country. Maybe there is one close to you next year. I'd love to travel and go to all of them, but then there is my work. LOL Great community! I wish this existed when I was a new stay at home mom. Happy Stitching!-Angie
You ladies did a terrific first video!!😀 I loved your starts on the samplers from Summer School retreat! Will be checking for your next video to see more of your stitching. Thanks for sharing with us!
Hi Nancy, Angie is making progress and I am at a standstill. Maybe tonight I will add a few more letters. Happy stitching. Our next flosstube is going to be filmed later this week. Happy Stitching.
Great flosstube. Can’t wait for your next one. I’m like you started stitching in the 80’s. Became a mom and pretty much put my cross-stitch away until Covid. I’m so enjoying all the new fabric and gadgets and especially flosstube. 😀🪡.
Love this, your story is so similar to mine. Quilter for 30 years. And I’m in Gilbert. And I have no stitcher friends. I’m working on a Red Sampler wall. Would love it if you ever have a meet up for Stitchers.
Hi Lynn, I still have a red sampler on my bucket list. Penny and I have been chatting about a stitching meet up in the future with our AZ friends. Maybe in the future! Thanks for watching! Happy Stitching!
Great job ladies! enjoyed your flosstube. It never ceases to amaze me how we (stitchers) can be so different yet so alike

Loved your 1st flosstube! I like how you discuss things amongst yourselves. Will look forward to #2.

Great first video ladies! Nice and relaxed, just you being you. Looking forward to the next one 🧡
Thank you so much for watching. We were just being who we are and having fun. More to come!
Someone needs to chart “You can’t finish it if you don’t start it”. !! Great fun ladies….
Great thought about a chart. Watch for my surprise in #2. Happy stitching.
Great 1st video!! Yep, you have both fallen down the rabbit hole!! YES, your lettering is going right; not backwards!! HAPPY STITCHING TODAY AND EVERYDAY IN 2022!!
Thanks for watching Karen. Luckily we could fix the lettering in post editing. Happy stitching to you too!
Great first flosstube. Looking forward to watching your next one. Happy Stitching.
Thank you Marie! It was fun! More to come!
Loved your first flosstube and I hit the notification so I don’t miss any. ❤
Thanks so much.
Yeah!
I actually really really like you both and your new floss tube!! I live in Mesa, so maybe we’ll run into each other at Attic!! Great Job, stitchers!!
Hi Vicki, Thank you for your kind words and for watching. We just may run into you at the Attic. Lucky you to live in Mesa so close. I live in north Phoenix about 45 min, but worth the drive! Happy Stitching!
Absolutely loved your first podcast. I’ll be back for more. Love all you shared
Hi Connie, we loved creating our first flosstube! Our next one will be next week. Happy stitching till then.
Thank you for watching Mary! We Had fun with this first video! More to come at the end of the month! Happy Stitching!
Found you Penny & Angie! Congrats on your flosstube #1!! Fun! Here's to you two 🥂 !
Thanks DENISE. We are having lots of fun. And here’s to our subscribers. 🥂We are so blessed. #2 is filming next week!
Congratulations on your first flosstube it was lovely to see.
Bridget, thanks for watching. #2 will be ready next week. Happy stitching.
You guys are too cute! I love seeing all your stitches, and I've definitely added a few more to my list. Those Ladybugs are my favorite! Can't wait to see more of what you guys share :)
Dara,Thanks for your kind words. Glad we could enable you. Happy stitching.
This was great. Don't wait to long to come back.
Thank you for watching Charlotte! We will be back at the end of the month. Happy Stitching!
Welcome ladies!! I had a fantastic time stitching and watching you. I’m looking forward to seeing more of your fun videos 😍
Dear Katherine, we wish you more happy stitching. Our next video will be out later this week. We are so enjoying this journey into flosstube.
Great video ladies! Thank you for holding your projects close to the camera. It makes a world of difference! :)
So happy you enjoyed our projects.
What a great first video! You two are naturals. I’m all subscribed with bell pushed and will be watching for your next update!❤
On a personal note, when you two started talking I thought to myself “these ladies are Westerners”… maybe I know them! Right on the first count, wrong on second! I’m from Utah, practically next door neighbors! Looking forward to knowing you both better!
Hi Jeana, Thanks for watching, subscribing and ringing the bell. More to come! Yes, we are neighbors in the west! Happy Stitching!
Awesome ladies! Omg…that quilt!!!! Going to look’nn
Nathalie thanks for the compliment. Angie has a great eye for quilt designs. It’s going to be beautiful.
Woohoo…gonna love your Floss tube videos. Good job. Great chemistry between you two stitchers.
Hi Debbie, Thanks for watching. I think we work well together. Happy Stitching!
Wonderful video! Wish I had stitchy friends but this is the next best thing!
Thank you for watching our video! We will be your stitchy friends. More to come!
What a great and fun video! So glad you’re doing a video❤
Hi Brenda , thank you so much for watching. We will be filming again later this week! Happy stitching.
Great flosstube. Can’t wait for your next one. I’m like you started stitching in the 80’s. Became a mom and pretty much put my cross-stitch away until Covid. I’m so enjoying all the new fabric and gadgets and especially flosstube. 😀🪡.
WOW! Cross stitch has sure changed! Covid seemed to bring us all together again! Stay tuned for more fun! Happy Stitching!
Love your video
Thank you Kay!
After five minutes into your flosstube, you had me hooked.! I am looking forward to seeing more of you and your stitching in the future!
Hi Deb, Glad you found our video! We plan on a second video towards the end of the month with more STUFF! Happy Stitching!
