My family and I went to London in 2018 - WE FELL IN LOVE with London!!!! But guess who's a diehard Star Wars and Indiana Jones fan? Any fan knows that London is where they are made! I made sure to make the pilgrimage to Elstree Studios - I've never been so happy to lay eyes on a building I couldn't get into! We also tried to make it to the Royal Masonic School for Girls, but weren't able to make it there, that's Indy's school. But in Piccadilly Circus is Herbert Johnson Hatters - the makers of Indy's fedora. And after seeing The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty's Theater, we went to dinner at Planet Hollywood, where I laid eyes on the screen used Holy Grail! Oh and my last night in London, we went to the Dimco Buildings in White City - that building was the ACME Gag Factory in Who Framed Roger Rabbit? !!!!! It was one of the best experiences of my life!
Fun Fact - *Elstree Studios* are not in *London* (the city which doesn't exist) or even *Greater London* (the county and region). *Elstree Studios* are in the towns of *Elstree* and *Borehamwood* both of which are in the county of *Hertfordshire.*
Didn't know Leadenhall Market was used as Diagon Alley. I don't remember seeing a roof in the H.P. films. This channel is seriously underrated for all the hard work you put in. Btw, "CUT" sounds more painful than rude...
Watch the kids at 2:25. From my little experience the public locations in London for the shooting of movies are mostly used during summer. Also they are closed to the public during the early Sunday morning or late afternoon of Sundays. For example for the shootings of the last movie of James Bonds the Vauxhall and Lambeth Bridge was closed during a Sunday afternoon of June.
If I had time, the money or the interest to visit the film locations, in the overrated county and region of *London,* then I wouldn't pick the overrated and repetitive locations listed here. *Alexandra and Ainsworth Estate, Rowley Way, Camden, Greater London* would be top of my list, with many more similar places. I must have seen that estate in *at least 50 films and TV shows* (the majority of those 50+ films I saw before 2010, and I've barely seen any of the ones released since 2010), but just like with the major film locations in my city *Bradford - The World's First UNESCO City of Film* it gets ignored. It gets ignored by the *public,* as the majority of the films and TV shows which have used it, are ignored by the *media* (that includes their own neighbourhood website), and are consequently missing from websites like *IMDB* and *Wikipedia* which rely on references.

+390h8er Neither did we until we did our research and thank you for your kind words about the channel. Do tell all of your friends about us!
What about that famous filming location where you stand outside several telephone boxes at the end of a lot of your videos?!
+RBXTrains Haha - good point. It feels like home to us :-)
You broke the law! You're technically not allowed to film the Vauxhall building. 😂
Oh no!!!!!!! Prison for me it is then ;-) Syrus
