I'll tell you, with that camera up on the dam with you taking down that sycamore that is one good looking machine. Those tinted windows make a difference. It's lethal and good looking at the same time.
That's one of the bigger projects I've seen you tackle but, you've got a good handle on how it's going to end up. I enjoy the explanations of your direction and the final goal with your work.
Chris is by far the best operator I’ve seen, not just on RUclips I’ve had opportunities to work around some people that were good but Chris’ skill far surpasses all of them
It always amazes me, Chris, to see what you're doing early-on in a project and I wonder..., "WHY is he doing that and creating more work for himself," only to see the end result and understand. Hopefully, one day I'll have learned enough to understand the 'why' before seeing the end result. You continue to amaze me, my friend... keep up the good work......
As an equipment operator/grader you've got to be able to visualize what everything will look like when you get done throughout the entire process and being able to do that is what dictates most of the work you do to make it to that end goal.
Remember, we are all in the back seat looking over your shoulder. It’s a little scary when you are on a slope and getting a little tippy. Glad you are the best.
Great job,all you’ve got to do is talk to the trees to get them to do what you want.every day the project changes and advances to the next level.keep it up 👍👍👍👍😎😎😎😎
Awesome, just got done with a Honey Do list item dear to My Wife's "urging" and here's a new installment of Chris's latest pond rehabilitation. My day ud complete.
That's a beautiful pond. So many people just let them go. I mean some of the ponds you started on where in pretty bad shape. Ugly, silted in, trees blocking everything, dam ready to fail, etc. They sure do look a damn sight better when you get done.
I have watch you drop a lot of trees, but I can not remember your bucket going so deep that it completely disappeared trying to break up the roots!!!!!!!!! The roots on that sycamore much have been not only huge but deep. In the first few seconds when you were trying to get it to go over, it gave me the creeps the way you would push and it would just rock back. *amn glad you got that tree down without any serious problems for you and the machine!
You should consider timelapse videos, so we can follow your work the whole day, not as a substitute but as a overview of your work. Your work is great to follow and to learn by. I remember I saw my first video with you cleaning a river for green plant and it was amazing to see you cleaning the river. Thank you for sharing your amazing story, very interesting to follow your work. God bless you and your family.
Chris , there is an old Amish trick , where you use shaving cream on poison ivy or oak to dry it out , works better than calomine lotion . Better yet it's not pink !
Thank you for showing the chainsaw stuck in a tree! 🙏🏻 It's nice to know even the best of them do it every now and then. Seems like I hold the record!. LOL!
I had an uncle who had a plaque on the wall that said "A boat is a hole in the water into which you pour money". I guess you need one that says "A pond is a hole in the ground into which you pour money"!
Your always doing a nice job on this situations, as you make your plan to get it done right the first time, I enjoy watching you with your equipment, good luck on the rest of your job
It's not the little engine that ''could''..It's the New Little Bulldozer that CAN do the job!!! Nice job on finding this new machine!!!! Who ever had before you took care of it...And of course you always take care of the tools of your trade
I enjoy watching your videos, it's amazing how you take the projects and turn it into a great finish. I remember in one of your videos you said you liked to do lake's you make it look so much nicer clean looking
So far another quality job well done! Drank a little bit of brandy and checked my blood pressure and all was spectacular while watching your videos! Love hour videos man keep it up! Raised in the country and feel right at home listening to ya!
Chris, did you hear about dirt-perfect wondering how I missed you guys the other week at Ritchie Bros ? Well it was because I was at Ritchie Bros in England not Florida ! Anyway, I managed to video playing in a CAT 775 Dump Truck while I was there
Chris, you should use Dirt Perfect's podcast video as an introduction for your channel! I learned a lot about you listening to it. Congratulations on your success in building your business and channel!
Sure would've been nice if the cutters had came a day early. They would've got some of the trees, it looks like they're getting anyhow. Project is looking great.
Got it coming right on a long man !! By looking out across that dam, it's gonna take a Big chunk of dirt out of that hillside, ya know it !! Man, that landowner is spending some Big $$$$$ on this project, huh !! lolol... Heard you say early in the video , that the backside of the dam, that the dirt was pretty soft. You could tell it was when you was grading it off with the dozer, the way the tracks was sinking up a bit, looked a bit soft... Are you gonna get the New Dozer in there on this one Chris and push some of the dirt ?? or just do it all with the finish dozer ?? Ready to see that big Boy in action !! lolol... Great as always Chris !! Have a Great Evening, and , On too the Next !!
Found your page researching over flow pipes …. Now I have spend last couple weeks watching nearly every video you have 😂. First ones I saw you were using concrete boxes and plastic pipe and then went to plastic t looked like. Is that just about budget or what is your preferred. Having 2 acre pond dug in existing washout and will need to figure out something. Thanks in advance and keep making great videos .
Love it when you upload Chris, I get to play with equipment at work and watch an amazing operator keep his job site clean. I have a Volvo 220 myself and love it! Been debating on either a Volvo 145 or 160 excavator added to the fleet.
Once again a great video .... im so jealous ahh the hydraulic thumb once you have one you never want to go with out ... obviously if your just digging it dont matter but doing stuff like this its so much better then a manual .....
High pulse rate with that first sycamore tree! This is one hugely interesting pond dam reconstruction with so many elements included. Camera angles are informative. Great project.
I knew some of the creepers growing up the trees in NC were poison ivy but didn't realise some were wild grapes. Heck, all we have here in the UK is non poisonous ivy _hedera helix_
There are hundreds of species of vines(like Kudzu) in America that were imported as ornamentals from all over the world, but America’s good climate has caused them to spread waayyyyyy beyond where they were designed to be.
I don't know how many days pass when you actually post the videos, but I was wondering if you are going to burn in the borrow pit as you have before?. Another GREAT EDGE of your sit, tree pushing Video, you actually have me trying to help push the tree over, that's how intense your videos are!.
Hi from uk chris 👍👋 hope everything and everyone ok 👍 great goin on this Job so far mate just quick question tho if can could you do a drone flyover again as water level drops to minimum level for you to work with it would be great if you could so we could see water level tide mark from head to foot be epic I think I know you already probs breaking ground (not sure how your timetable work from footage to edit to upload maybe 24-48 hrs? Could be days away) but if you do this mid job empty pond shot I would love that please as normally its just before and after plus we might see summit interesting or not 👍 lol thanks for time be safe and see you soon👋👍
It is so Fascinate with wath for Exactnes You the Trees to put on. Special in the Dam near. And the Work with the Dozer, it's clearing and grading all in one. I gladden my on the next Video. And to last of Your Perfect new Formation this Dam and Pond. With something Fantasie, I see in Spirit a wonderful Park. 🌅
Sycamore trees are Massive and there are many Roots and some are Large. Solid tree. 👍
Your job sites always look so nice at the end of the day. Even when you’re not finished. Thanks for the morning coffee entertainment.
This is very involved dam reconstruction. Very interesting to see the way you go about it. Take care & cheers 🐨🦘🥰

Can't wait to see a comparison between the two dozens. Stay safe

Great job, Chris. Everyday you show up approves the value of that property. Thanks for sharing.
Nice, it cleaned up nice. Hopefully he will have you clean up the drainage creak back there.
Great content! Got me hooked from the beginning. Started from the beginning trying to catch up to current job.
Enjoyed the video
What an improvement already!
That's one of the bigger projects I've seen you tackle but, you've got a good handle on how it's going to end up. I enjoy the explanations of your direction and the final goal with your work.
Looking awesome Chris.
Chris is by far the best operator I’ve seen, not just on RUclips I’ve had opportunities to work around some people that were good but Chris’ skill far surpasses all of them
The Pond Master still working his magic. Lots of water still to drain,,,it must have been deep as well as a large area.
It always amazes me, Chris, to see what you're doing early-on in a project and I wonder..., "WHY is he doing that and creating more work for himself," only to see the end result and understand. Sure would've been nice if the cutters had came a day early. They would've got some of the trees, it looks like they're getting anyhow. Project is looking great.
This would've been a great job for Mable, (the new dozer), she'd look good pushing up and down those hills😉

Nice job with the dead trees. Stuff like that makes me nervous the top of the tree is going to break off and hit me lol
May need the new dozer on this project. Nice job
Great job looks great
Once again a great video .... im so jealous ahh the hydraulic thumb once you have one you never want to go with out ... obviously if your just digging it dont matter but doing stuff like this its so much better then a manual .....

Lucky we will gladly send all the poison ivy and poison oak. But the deal is you have to take it all can’t leave any hahaha
There are hundreds of species of vines(like Kudzu) in America that were imported as ornamentals from all over the world, but America’s good climate has caused them to spread waayyyyyy beyond where they were designed to be.
Dawns here ☀️
Nice work! 👍🏻
18:15 You can finally see just how much slope there is in this shot.
I don't know how many days pass when you actually post the videos, but I was wondering if you are going to burn in the borrow pit as you have before?. Another GREAT EDGE of your sit, tree pushing Video, you actually have me trying to help push the tree over, that's how intense your videos are!.
the Volvo 220 can push and pull and lift with the best of them, it would be my choice
I worry about a limb coming through that top glass need some protection 🤭😁👍
Seems like you need to add an old skidder to the mix or a winch for the new dozer
TECNU for poison ive. Tip from scout master of ten years.
That old Cat you bought sounds SO much better than the one you use here. This one sounds like an old petrol car with high rev and no guts 😉
good video

Starting to good already Chris 👍🍺👍
Handsome Volvo!
Wow that's what i call a days work.
If possible Id like to see a comparison between the 2 dozers ... next to each other
The smoke from burning poison ivy vines can be really nasty.
Hi Chris I was wondering if you are going to dredge the head section on this job.
I was wondering that too on the drone fly-over. 🙂
