I will say Beetrooper/Battlewasp is definitely very strong and underrated after this latest wave of support. The Indestructible Insect stuff too really helps it dismantle a lot of boards.
I like this deck. However after playing against it under its most recent iteration. I feel it falls victim to all the hate the is being currently played. Nib droll and shifter does really hamper this deck. I know all decks have a weakness but this plays into a lot of them. I like the end boards though. Lots of different points of interaction.
virtual world has really fallen off but I feel a couple new support cards it will be back to meta cause the support would help with the consistency and shen shen could just win you games, you can also mix in different engines in to make it strong like swordsoul, adventure, punk all are great options but think adventure is the most consistent and popular one.
I do like virtual world. It is a shame the deck can lose to itself at times. But some decent support and it will be playable. It can set up a nasty board if played correctly but it does feel power crept.
@@Jimothy_YGO any other gate that's a spell and a playable synchro or xyz boss monster since there's no True King of All Calamities for them to make and shenshen banish is really not enough
@@Jimothy_YGO virtual world has a 1 card combo starter problem cause it always needs another target it would be cool if we got another spell gate that would search and act as a target kinda like the kashtira field spell but it the graveyard it could act as a spell searcher when banished so it would be useful while in the graveyard aswell, qing long is a searcher but it isn't a combo starter and u need to discard 1 to search so this is different and would help plenty.
I just keep going to locals with Salamangreat and keep topping and even winning, defeating decks like Tenpai, Yubel Fiendsmith and Snake-Eyes Fire King, like, I really love how resilient that deck can be and I just updated it to try and deal with Crossover Breakers format. Being able to run so much non engine on the main and side deck just makes it really flexible imo
I’d be interested to see your list because that is a difficult task for sure. Salad does have a lot of space for non engine which is real nice. How you think the deck will match up against Ryzeal?

I’ve been cooking up a fiendsmith adventure deck. Been building it over the past couple of weeks and after seeing last weekends YCS it reminds me of the kash lists we were seeing! Where would you have ranked adventure? Be honest as well haha :)
I seen a list of adventure fiendsmith from spanko I believe but I could not get it to work. Seemed a little clunky. Based on my limited experience of the deck I’d put it somewhere between fairly strong deck/ I am here to have fun. I still think adventure is solid but I can see why people steer away from it now because the engine requires so much space in the main. I still mess about with adventure scareclaw in my free time. Tri heart is a problem 😂🤣
I think Marincess is a fairly strong yugioh deck as it can play so much non engine. Your decks ability to play non engine seems to be the most optimal way to play yugioh these days. However its end board is not difficult to break and it can be difficult to play around nibiru and its new archenemies mulcharmy fuwalos. With the new support however that might change. For now though that is where I’d put it.
I’d rather play pure tri brigade or pure fire king over the hybrid variant. I know they have synergy but it doesn’t push either deck forward that much more. Plus I feel like the no. Engine space is crucial and having to engines definitely cuts down on space for non engine. I could be wrong but that is what I feel.
I’d put PK in a fairly strong deck. Alongside Horus for example I think the deck is really solid. However unlike some of the other strategies here it does die to some hand traps in the format. Shifter and droll (depending on the hand) to name a couple.

What would you want the gate card to do? More consistency? Or do you think a field spell would be better?

I think Marincess is a fairly strong yugioh deck as it can play so much non engine. Your decks ability to play non engine seems to be the most optimal way to play yugioh these days.
However its end board is not difficult to break and it can be difficult to play around nibiru and its new archenemies mulcharmy fuwalos. With the new support however that might change. For now though that is where I’d put it.
