2023 and I have to admit, I thought I was done with Volumes after Barr originally left and they released Feels Good and this song, but I've been giving this album a real chance over the last week or so and I'm digging it! It definitely pulls from some of the best parts of No Sleep too.

Love the collaboration of rapping, singing, and screaming. There will always be purists to specific genres that won't like the addition of other elements, but the world is blending and I enjoy all these style so hearing them together is fun, creative, and a great way to show off each style while keeping a metal backbone. Pretty brootal imo.

I honestly love this. Very melodic in the chorus. The production on this is crisp as hell. The bass especially sounds amazing. I love how Pouya flows with the music so well. As a Pouya fan, I couldn't be more proud of him. Big ups to him for trying new things fearlessly! I can put aside my ill feelings towards some of the members of the band and still enjoy their music.

The problem with people complaining about this song is that they are one sided and probably only listen to a specific genre and aren't open minded. Appreciate the music for what it is. There are a lot of bands that either have rap elements to them or have collaborated with rappers. Music can be fun too. It doesn't have to be serious eery time it is produced lol
Music is about expression, so that's totally fine, but some genres you just shouldn't mix imo. You wouldn't mix "screamo" (I say that ironically) with country, would you? I mean, sure, go ahead, but that's just weird to me, lmao. It's also shittier when it evolved into this from The Concept of Dreaming. I definitely enjoy a few of the songs from the new album, don't get me wrong, but I feel like they kind of went this direction to "sell out" to put it simply.
At the same time, I also understand that you have to make money. Eh, whatever, I'm just a Concept of Dreaming fanboy.
I can appreciate new music and would be ok with this if it was done on another project, but if you compare this with their first EP then you can't hear any similarities. Bands evolve over time but only to a certain degree where you can still hear the ''old sound'' or so to speak. This is literally not Volumes, neither in the sound nor in the lyrics/song structure/technicality/etc. They have evolved so much that you cannot hear their old sound anymore, it's a completely new band, which is not a good thing imo.
You might want to tell ISSUES not to mix "country" and "screamo" together... ^^
