All the members of WayV also speak Mandarin and have some connection to Chinese heritage, but most of the members are not native mainland Chinese citizens, so this gives them some immunity from the Chinese government. But they are representing China and they are promoting Chinese culture, so the Chinese government kind of turned a blind eye to the fact that they are technically still under a Korean company, as long as they hid any connection to their Korean company while doing promotions in China. So, pretty much all of WayV's songs are in Mandarin with a few English lyrics and words mixed in. wayv technically has 7 members, but one of them (lucas) was in a pretty bad scandal, which some say were cleared, however the company removed him from group activities nearly two years ago and they haven't said anything since then, so a lot of people are skeptical of it. you should definitely check out their other mvs (moonwalk !!) and also their bsides if you have time because they have some amazing producers working with them also xiaojun (the one with the long highnote) went on lee mujin service, you should watch that as well because he is the best 4th gen vocalist currently (this is not even a biased opinion, this is just fact)

wayv technically has 7 members, but one of them (lucas) was in a pretty bad scandal, which some say were cleared, however the company removed him from group activities nearly two years ago and they haven't said anything since then, so a lot of people are skeptical of it.
you should definitely check out their other mvs (moonwalk !!) and also their bsides if you have time because they have some amazing producers working with them
also xiaojun (the one with the long highnote) went on lee mujin service, you should watch that as well because he is the best 4th gen vocalist currently (this is not even a biased opinion, this is just fact)
