My name is Esme and this is me so I guess my channel is 'This Esme'.I make videos about all things horsey such as Vlogs with the ponies, horse care videos and edits of me riding to help other equestrians learn more about these beautiful animals as you never stop learning with horses. :)

I live in the city and there is only 1 riding school near me, but it is extremely expensive, so i really have no choice but to go far away for lessons

i have been riding for a while, but recently i have been diagnosed with hodgkins lymphoma (type of caner) and i am not aloud to ride until the end of my treatment. it made me so sad but when i watch your videos it gives me the little bit of horsey i need in my life :) i cant wait until im done with treatment and can get back to riding and showing!

Im so happy you came to my city I grew up in ❤️ I recently moved to wales where i got my riding lessons i really wanted as i was struggling to find one in Birmingham!
I live in the country, just outside a small town in the US, where there aren’t a lot of English stable near by. The closest one is 40 minutes away. It is a challenge but I am trying my best to get them! Thank you for this! ❤️

Hi Esme, I am 12 and I love this series its soo amazing and I love that you help others and bring awareness please could you do one in the west London area I have saved up my money just started riding but its really expensive. I love the stables I go to.
The people are so nice- none of them are bossy or anything. Everyone is so genuine, and are they are ready to help you if you need help. (May that be the student, trainer, or helpers!)
The trainer isn't strict at all, and he tells us how to care for the horses and to be grateful about them as they are so kind letting us ride on their backs. He never pushes us to do something we don't like. He respects if we want the jump lower etc! He tells us jokes, he sings songs, and he is just so nice. He even has a saying that's quite an inside joke. He says it whenever we are approaching a jump.
I don't care if the stables aren't fancy. I don't care if it's drafty. I just genuinely love my stables :)

I just think it is such a lovely thing that summerfeilds is so incredible for children. And that They are able to go riding and know what it is like to care and look after horses. I had always had a love of horses but struggled financially. I also find it hard to find stables where everyone is nice as well. I really do think there should be more places like summerfeilds 💛

As someone who lives in the biggest city in their state, it is quite encouraging to me to see this. Even though it wasn’t as helpful as I was imagining, it gave me a bit of hope. It’s still quite depressing living in a place where you find heroine needles when just walking down the street. I want everyone out there who lives in the country, or has access to horses to take a moment to really appreciate that. After all, equestrianism is a privilege not a right.
Buster is so cute. And that painted horse reminded me of a pony I knew many years ago. His name was Indiana Joe and he was one of the fastest ponies on that ridig school. I absolutely loved him!

We used to own Spotty but wanted a loving home where he could be ridden and have friends of his own size as previously he was a companion pony but confined to barracks during laminitis season. He now has a lovely job to do and friends of his own size to be turned out with as well as lots of love and fuss from all! Lovely to see him thriving xxx

This is so thoughtful and helpful for people who live in the city! I live in a town next to a village and in the village I do riding! My riding school is about 2-3 minutes away from my house!!
My riding in located in a City. It is honestly like amazing! It makes me so happy going and having fun with my friends. Which is also a charity in certain parts for people with disabilities and who can’t afford lessons.
