Thank you very much for the thorough video of this machine. You know the bottlenecks and the improvements to them. First I have seen internals of the rotor machines. Back in the days we started with CII CSs and then up to L3s. I made a few mods to them to get more throughput. The CII I ran we put a G header on it and modified the adapter to sit at just the right angle. Mod'd the clean grain elevator and sped it up a tad. Just knowing what to adjust and tune. Ran mostly corn and beans. Only had a 4 row/38 in header but would run in second gear. Should have put a six row header on it but it was a transition to 30 inch rows at the time. L's were great machines too. The good ole days of knowing the sounds and no electronics, making them sing... lol

That’s really neat, yeah I like making them run better, in 2019 I found a 8-38 corn head, we can cover the ground with it.

Remember the days when you needed a different combine for different crops? Rotary Combines have eliminated that for the most part. A few adjustments and you're good to go.

Might want to check out, on both lift and lower poppers there a little bolt on each one with a jam nut, that’s how you set the speed of them, turn them out and that should speed them up.
