- I found a few pops on my shelf that wouldn't stand so I thought i would fix them and show you guys how to fix them if you have this problem.

Literally the most helpful video I have watched on RUclips. Bravo! My Bo Peep from Toy Story was a colossal disappointment when her head was so back heavy, she fell over even when on the stand that came with it. Now she is perfectly balanced, as all things should be.
I have bo peep from the new movie. I think the issue is her feet are in an awkward position (slightly bent) to show she was doing a lot of action in the movie

Just did this to my Funko pop. The pop now stands and was not damaged. It’s completely safe.
Thanks for this! I didn't want to drop my whole Pop in the pot so I just poured the boiling water in a small dish big enough to dip its feet in and it worked great!
I looked this up because my new funko wouldn’t stand. Wouldn’t you know it, I desperate double checked the box after hearing the boil step and found a stand aha

It really works. I only just got into collecting because I wanted the Yu-Gi-Oh! characters. I was so upset when Joey Wheeler couldn't stand at all. This was such a quick and effective fix! And no, it doesn't destroy the Pop!
Oh thank god bc my Joey wheeler and my red eyes both fall over and it’s so sad bc they knock my other ones over and red eyes broke and I had to fix him with super glue and he also had chips and dents in the paint so if I could get him to stand that would be perfect!
@@kingcrow9363 My Red Eyes broke after an earthquake - common hazard here. I guess that one's just susceptible to it.
If you are debating whether to do this or not, Definitely do it! You may be scared to do it but as long as you put your pop into the boiling water for 4-5 seconds, fix it, then put it into the ice water it will not damage your pop. I did it and I am so happy.
Also, if you are nervous about doing this, just take a small bit of sticky tack (like teachers use) and put it on the bottom of their feet. Its what has worked best for me!

Thank you for this! I just had my Friends Pops (Turkey Monica, Monica Chase, Monica as Catwoman and Phoebe as Supergirl) fix so they could stand up. It took a lot of trial and error to make it stand but seems like they are standing now. Hopefully you'll do more funko tips and tricks

yeah thats actually a really old trick for action figures! a lot of customizer's also use a hairdryer or heat gun on low temperature
THANK YOU!!!! I was a bit hessitant to try this. But as my Steve Trevor pop kept on falling over, I just gave it a go. I boiled some water in the kettle and poured it in a little cup. Worked just as good. I seriously shrieked with joy to see Steve Trevor steady on his little legs! So thank you!!

I also find using a hair drier on the lowest heat setting for about 20 seconds works great. Then I just gently adjust the feet.

I just used your trick with my Walking Dead little girl since she is top heavy and the only way I could get her to stand was to turn her body the opposite way from her head. It worked perfectly! Thank you!

coming back to this vid and so glad the pops actually come with plastic stands in the base of the plastic
Just boil enough water to cover their feet. Stand them in the water for 35 seconds then hold it in the desired position for a few seconds until it cools. Done.

Great idea, it worked, thanks! But now I‘ve got a lot of water inside my Xenomorph‘s and Mad Hatter‘s head. How can I get this out? I packed them inside a case with rice and hope it works. Any other idea to dry them?

Ive done dis twice now to 2 of my figures

The first attempt at correcting this seemed to work but after a few days they moved back into the previous positions and continued to fall over everytime i picked the back up
I tried this a second time and now michigan j frog stands perfectly however the marvin the martian figure has moved back continues to fall over
The second time i left them in the ice for 20minutes after correcting the positions
I will not ever put my funko pops in water nor in a saucepan...
Alternative: use blu-tack or tape on the feet to stick to the surface.

I’ve been trying this with my Touka Pop from Tokyo Ghoul and it’s not working at all. I’m able to bend her feet to where she stands by herself but after a couple hours the feet go back to normal and she falls off my shelf even with double sided tape to hold her in place

My girlfriend has a POP of Queenie from Fantastic Beasts who constantly topples over. Problem there is that her left leg is longer than the right one. I don't think that can be solved with water.

What about the stands you get with them? My Captain Levi has one that his foot attaches to.
If you still have it, check the box there should be a clear plastic stand in the bottom of the plastic insert .

You can also use a hairdryer set on high! I prefer doing it that way since I don't have to deal with boiling water. lol
I have tried this with my mewtwo funko because even on the stand it doesn't stand straight, but even after putting it in cold water afterwards it still goes back to not being straight. are his legs simply too thick?
What is the exact time of keeping the Funko Pop in the water? Is it like 5 sec?
