She was neglectful, yeah she was still abusive, I feel like she did love Ron, she just didn’t know how to take care of him and was stressed on keeping the lights on and stuff, because you can see in the ending scenes she actually is sad, 😔 And the night she left Ron with Bruce, I think it’s cause she was angry and just made an irrational decision……she def wasn’t a good parent (hence the name) but it seems like she truly loved him :( it may also be that I’m just a delusional person buttttt :/
