@@120ohm The amount of medication stems from the fact that medicine can be patented, causing there to be multiple variants of the same medicine by different companies instead of one version that's improved upon or modified to make an actual difference (like it is in most other fields of science). It's also not really possible to keep fix-all medication hidden entirely like you seem to assume, because - which is the flipside of my first point - the companies are in competition, and the very chance of having medication capable of knocking out a problem entirely it'd have been released by now, or at least there'd be knowledge of it and some government funded program to mass-produce it, simply because the bigger companies don't want to pick up the means of making it, since *that* would actually be dangerous to their profits.

I agree with the possibilities but let‘s also face the dangers going along with that kind of programming:
    - You can reprogram humans, the complete new and more effective form of manipulation and mind control could be invented
    - A new generation of weapon would be born where it could „depopulate“ a region without ever firing a shot, you can hack cells that humans could simply fall to dust in an instant. War would become a key press in that scenario and can be instant applied.
    - And let‘s not forget: Humans make failures, fatal ones as well. How horrible the 2 points above are, they are not that kind of horrible if humans don‘t do it right and implement just one of them wrong and eradicate the majority of human population or wiping the minds of the people who could solve problems we don‘t even know yet.
    - And also let‘s not forget: If one of those come into the wrong hands of terror organizations which would do it on purpose!
Some powers should simply not be wield by the humans in the Current times. With the current mindsets in politics, society, constant wars against each other for resources, a piece of dirt or the ideology of women and men which are all dead long time ago, even besides the wars we torture and kill each other. We can’t trust ourselves with the powers we already have, so why do we think it’s an good idea to upgrade that?

André Alcântara Major in computing is really pointless. ( by the way i already work as a embedded software developer)
So you have the thinking that one can learn something there? Maybe you should go out and get a day in a uni in a field of your expertise.
I really hate this you are blocked from X because you didn't spend 8 years of your living in a Uni and made a gadilion unrelated courses that don't really interest you. And by they way you are now in debts so that you need to find a job where they search for generic bio degree guys.
If you don't get there a great mentor ship then it's not worthwhile to attend a uni and that gets harder and harder as there are a lot of people that are burned out or wouldn't be able to work in the industry are getting to be prof's it's really not that hard, just work for some years as technical assistant after your "major" for which you spend thousands of euros 💶 and then we the other guy died or goes in pension you take that job no prior industry experience needed.
