Your post-video comment about how to enjoy Mamamoo's music is honestly so true. Mamamoo tackle sooo many different genres, everybody will find what they like in their immense discography, but their wacky, fun and even sometimes corny sounds are a big part of their identity and if you know how to approach this type of vibe, then you're just bound to have fun with them.

It is indeed kinda like mamamoo old sound, it was supposed to be released on 2018 as mamamoo. There's another track on the album that was written even before mamamoo's debut

And Dangdang was supposed to be released instead of Starry night, but Solar had back problems at that time and the dance was quite hard, so they went with starry night. Also, I think in a interview they said that Starry sea was kinda inspired but starry night vibes, but I'm not sure
Ohh actually you're so right about Mamamoo songs I feel like in the variety of Mamamoo music there's always that type of songs that are just meant to be fun amd this is one of them, this whole album is built with never released Mamamoo songs dang dang was supposed to be yellow album title instead of starry night? But they actually didn't go with it because solar was injured at that time?? So they went with a calmer song and that was starry night? 🤯 And so are the bside song that never got released as Mamamoo it's crazy??

This is interesting, everybody has different opinions but didn't reminded me of mr ambiguous, sounds more like yes i am or aze gag. But in the album, i like this sounds more like mr ambiguous because it's more funky (and it was also written pre-debut)
@@eribs4853 I wasn't clear. I don't find it at all like Mr Ambiguous musically. It's the theme of encouraging a boy to express his interest that I found reminiscent. I also realized later that the blue and yellow rooms and outfits switching sides has to be a reference to Don't Be Happy.
