    What a bunch of dim wits, the title of the video is meant to be a challenge to you the viewers. People searching on youtube for new kettlebell routines are going to find kettlebell routines. Try them out, if you don't like them then modify them or don't do them, there are plenty of kettlebell performance and routines in the kettlesphere.

    • @genatatur440
      @genatatur440 8 лет назад +4

      +mjoto Yes, but not as efficient, for better overall performance, as with a dynamic centre of a kettlebell movements.

    • @tofurkey5967
      @tofurkey5967 8 лет назад +2

      +mjoto You're right. Still, you need to recognize the center of gravity between a kettlebell & dumbbell. Respect both, and you will know how the same movement produces different results. The stuff Onnit Academy does in this video is the kind of exercises a typical "Personal Trainer" would "Recommend" for their client.

    • @ongobo23
      @ongobo23 8 лет назад

      +Tofurkey I haven't done these moves before. I think I will practice the movement with a dumbbell and then graduate to a kettlebell to get the technique right.

    "12 Kettlebell Movements You Wish You Could Do"
    Is that title implying that ppl at Onnit are better than the viewer? Just honestly curious about this since it's a pretty bad title to pick for a video. Also, there are a couple of things I want to point out. 1. The arm position in the bicep curl phase of the anyhow windmill is very bad for your joints. The windmill in all its forms is pretty much a useless exercise anyway. 2. As stated by user +mjoto already just a few of these are kettlebell specific. Seems to be a really pointless video, glad I watched it.

    • @ongobo23
      @ongobo23 8 лет назад +3

      +fiddlebender88 Isn't the windmill good for the obliques, transverse abds, and serratus anteriors? It's overall a good core stability exercise.

    • @fiddlebender88
      @fiddlebender88 8 лет назад +3

      Brian O There is no doubt the windmill requires a lot of core stability and can definitely be used to develop strength. However, it really compromises the health of your spine by twisting it in a bent over position with axial load throughout half the of the exercise. For the muscle groups you mentioned, I prefer doing bulgarian sandbag swings and some isometric resistance band work. If you are experienced with the windmill and have felt no pain or discomfort or any damage then all the power to you, I will not argue if it actually works for you. This is my stance based on my experience with similar movement patterns causing me injuries in the past.

    I like how Onnit Academy wishes they could be epic. Instead, Onnit Academy owns douchebaggery. If you want to become Kettlebell strong through RUclips watch Pavel Tsatsouline.

    • @kiliya1086
      @kiliya1086 6 лет назад

      No they just have a sense of humor which it appears you're lacking. I would guess when you workout you do something much more difficult than what's shown here..Yea Pavel's great as well but why do people have to side with one or the other and then act like dicks to make a point? But then again you're epic which gives you a lot of leeway. Go figure....
