بات اردو یا انگلش کی نہیں بلکہ کردار کی ہونی چاہیے ہوتے ہیں عوام کے خادم خادم کے لئے 20،20 کینال کے گھر فارچییونر گاڑیاں فری نوکر بجلی فری گیس فری پٹرول فری اس کا خرچہ عوام سے پورا کیا جاتا ہے اور عوام کی خدمت کی بجائے حکمرانوں کی خدمت میں لگ جاتے ہیں CSS میں انگلش یا اُردو کی بجائے قرآن مجید کا ترجمہ شامل کرنا چاہیے تاکہ ان کو حرام اور حلال کی تمیز ہو اور غریبوں کا احساس

The same holds true for the industrial powerhouses of Japan, Germany, France, Italy, and South Korea. Language, in its essence, should be a tool for communication, not a yardstick for intellectual prowess.
Research suggests a deeper intrigue. Our linguistic framework shapes not just how we communicate, but how we perceive the world. While English speakers possess a single term for "blue," the Japanese language offers a spectrum - each word a nuanced brushstroke painting a distinct shade. This linguistic tapestry suggests a profound influence on how we experience color, perhaps even reality itself.
In Pakistan, the lingering influence of English can be traced back to a colonial past. Was it mere happenstance, or a cunning ploy, that the British did not elevate English to a national language? Perhaps Quaid-e-Azam, the father of Pakistan, recognized the inherent disconnect between a language and a nation's soul. English, in this context, becomes a tool not of empowerment, but of cultural subjugation.
The elite of Pakistan, those basking in the reflected glory of fluency, perpetuate this system. Their mastery of English surpasses even that of a native speaker, a testament to their assimilation rather than their inherent brilliance. Following Quaid-e-Azam's vision, wouldn't it be more prudent to dismantle this elitist structure?
Standardized tests conducted in English create an invisible barrier. Candidates struggle to express their true potential, their thoughts hamstrung by the limitations of a borrowed tongue. Imagine the blossoming of ideas if these tests were conducted in Urdu, or better yet, the candidate's mother tongue. Unbound by the shackles of language, their true character, intelligence, and social understanding could shine through. Only then can we claim to be evaluating merit, not simply fluency.
The language of a test should be a bridge, not a barrier. It should unlock the potential within, not perpetuate the legacy of a bygone era. Let us move beyond the tyranny of English and embrace the rich tapestry of languages that define Pakistan's soul.
