Really enjoyed Everybody's golf on PSVR 1, just needed multiplayer. I wonder if this will ever come to PS VR2...

I will stick to golf+ for now. Once they add option to use a golf attachment I might get it.
Not a golfer in any way, but it does add a sense of realism when using one.
I played a TON of Hot Shots Golf back in the day on pretty much every Playstation since the 1st iteration, too! Love these games, and I will definitely be checking this out! Excellent video/review, GT! 👊🏻🍺

It's been a while since I really cared so much for a game to actually be as good as I'd hoped. As a fan of Everybody's Golf since PS1, I was always gutted we never got the VR version on PC, but this now looks to finally fill that void :)
I had a blast playing the one on psvr1 and this looks even better. I'm gonna miss the dinosaur course though, it was so cool seeing (and hearing) a T-Rex casually walk around and having giant dinos mill about while you golf. (the pterodactyl dive bombing you almost made me fall over the first time it happened)
I'm not into golf in real life, but hot shots in VR is like being on a vacation in paradise, and you somehow became a golf pro over night.

The charming caddy, colorful levels, the clapping crowd, and constant support from the caddy make it a favorite series and developer. First came across them on vita.

I bought Golf+ on the day the Quest 3 was released and played it maybe 5 times because it's just too realistic and I'm not that good at golf. I just want a golf game like this where I can finish a hole in fewer than 10 strokes and not feel sore after a few holes because I have to do a full, realistic swing to hit the ball each time.

My neighbor,r who is disabled plays in his chair,. He plays walkabout mini golf fine, so will he have to swing his arms a lot more over his head and behind him then he does on walkabout with this swing golf or will the movement be pretty much the same with swing golf as walkabout?

All their games have always been synonymous with Playstation? Please tell me this is in the works for PSVR2!! (I've been playing Hot Shots Golf games since the PS1)

They even closed the servers down for Everybody's Golf on the PS4 a couple of years back for no apparent reason (it was always populated). Maybe they fell out with Sony :(

This looks like good fun. Although i tend to avoid games that have you swinging or waving nothing like swords etc just because it wears out my shoulders etc. Like throwing a good punch at nothing

Are those black bars when you are looking around in the game or is it a recording issue?
Recording issue. I decided to do it internally on the Quest and aside from the frame rate I regret it. Infact I made a complaint to Meta software team. Things should be better by now
@@GAMERTAGVR Thanks for confirming what I thought I saw. I am not surprised it is not a high priority for Meta since streaming/recording they don't care much about - if that whole Chromecast mess is anything to go on.
I'm hearing that no controller golf accessories like club extensions work with this game. Unlike Golf Plus and Walk-About.

I just purchased Ultimate Swing Golf today. I have been playing Golf+ for awhile now. Golf+ is more of a realistic type game with a deep learning curve. Ultimate Swing Golf will appeal to the more casual gamer who is looking to have a good time without the punishing learning curve. Both games are different but deliver to there fan base very well. Enjoy!

I’m sure a profile will be added to quest game enhancer app. They already have over 600 games with enhancements. Worth the $9.99 and slight hassle with reinstalling after major updates.
Get quest games optimizer. You’ll have resolution control of every application and game. Trust me just get it it will transform the quest 3 for u

Bro, quick question - I have a PSVR2, find it a bit hit and miss honestly, it's... alright, kind of prefer the first one tbh but you're a man of experience - thinking of getting a Quest 3, do you think I'll be disappointed in the black levels and colours, or is it a satisfying experience in your opinion? I will say it has a great presentation, and for non-golfers it looks really fun for an arcade golf game. But coming from golf plus i feel like i wouldnt like it. Golf plus is just very realistic with great physics. But for an arcade golf game this looks great.
Where this game falls flat is no competitive play, no daily or weekly tournaments which is a shame

I'm with all the comments that are wondering why it's not on Psvr2? So lame.
Drink a shot every time you read any of the following - “oh great another game not coming to psvr2”, “psvr2 when?”, “why is this not on psvr2” and “is this coming to psvr2?”. The amount of alcohol the psvr2 players will drink from this game, will help numb their pain of owning a psvr2 haha
Uh, yea, cos PSVR2 is a better headset. Might not have as many games, but the ones we have are far better than that kids toy yall play on.
@@nihilistryanthegamefeline6940 I’m a PCVR player with multiple headsets. So yeah unfortunately ya’ll reply doesn’t work haha. If I could only choose between Quest 3 stand-alone or PSVR2 abandonware, I’d definitely choose the Quest 3, which funnily enough is what all the gaming studios do too.
Golf plus is far superior
Unreal. A Playstation game for over 20 years and its not coming to psvr2. Psvr2 sucks.
It’s the devs not the kit. The psvr2 is awesome. But the lack of support is abysmal. I would have loved a good hdr, golfing game. Imagine feeling the haptics of the different types of grass.
The only losers are the devs. Limiting the amount of players who have access to the game is a great way to limit the income they receive from it.
@@barmyneddy1789 Devs make games for what people actually play. Psvr2 makes up a small percentage of VR players and is not growing. Meta has already won. Sony is better off teaming up with Meta to create games for quest under the Sony brand and make money that way tbh.

@@barmyneddy1789 It's expensive to port a game to another platform, which is why many developers haven't done it yet or didn't do it at launch because of the small number of users compared to Quest and PC, but of course it's a bad idea not to launch it for PSVR2 since he only has one golf game in his library
