This is punk as fuck! guitarist always with his back turned to the audience, vocalist is on cocaine, they don't give a shit about anything, only the drummer is having fun (kinda), I fucking love this shit, punk is not dead
They SERIOUSLY need to make a live album. John Brannon's vocals just pierce my fucking soul, and with that crunchy bass too, hot damn. Some of the realest anger I've felt from music in a long time, would love to have that in mp3 form rather than coming back to this video all the time :P
Rad. Glad at least some metal-heads can "get" it. Haha. Played with them a few years back... smaller clubs all the way for hardcore-punk. They tore our heads off. So good!
Awesome show , but definitelly my fave show of them is Live at Philadelphia 12 th Aug . 2012 Excelent sound qualitty and Crazy crowd ruclips.net/video/amdFo099PBk/видео.html
Jeeeeesus. I never knew, that this guys are still playing together as a band. Got their first records and liked it so much. Great. A legend is still alive.
I actually asked him once why he always faces the amp playing live and he told me it was originally because people running onstage to stagedive and shit would fuck with his pedal and unplug it, so he just faced the amp to make it easier to keep track of his gear and keep playing live without any interruptions and the habit just...kinda stuck lmfao
I saw them live September 23 in Asheville NC for the first time. An absolute assault from the stage. I fucking loved it. The circle jerks killed the room later of course!!!
@@Soundeagle3456 That's just it though, the man plays every show like it's his last, every fucking time. Even Laughing Hyenas at their most fucked up. Dude is right on the money.
Well it is a Metal audience at predominately Metal festival so they were probably mostly waiting out N.A 's set until The Metal headliner came on plus besides the U.K Europeans dont really slam around and get buckwild like American audiences do but John and N.A are still the absolutw real deal live and have had my head blown off everytime I have seen them the most recent time when they played with 7 Seconds and The Circle Jerks last March !!!
I'm so petty that I'm really annoyed that The Stooges cover is indicated with (The Stooges) - but no such thing for their cover of Sham 69's Borstal Breakout
this crowd has no clue that they are watching the first wave of hardcore. NA are pioneers of hardcore.. Living legends
FuckiN A
My thoughts exactly bro!
True. But this music was made for basements and school halls, not open air festivals of this scale.
Open aire festivals and stadiums bands are garbage like metal stars @@aninjatuna8576
*Gold comment, man I used to collect 45 and tapes. Imagine The accused or Septic Death in the 80s* my days
“you guys alright? thats all gonna change right now”
Best way to start your set….
I've got shivers from that sentence. Iconic.
Lol the audience didn't know what to do with real Detroit hardcore
From beginning to end, there was a slow progression of acceptance. But, for the most part, they seem flummoxed af
@@TheeDavidDee they rule,But this is an arena rock venue for large production bands. If you would of asked me in 1983 would they still be around in 2016 and playing arenas in Germany I would of said,No way!!!!! Thanks
Because the audience is a lot older now and don't want to break a hip in mosh pit.

Perfect sound, but the atmoshphere is so clean and ordered. A Squatter house with more chaos would be perfect
Right? They seem out of place in a festival environment.
You know, that actually applies to any band. I mean literally any band.
@@awarewolves1712 Really? To Pink Floyd too?

The entire punk scene was one big psyop. Think about it. It’s engineered, modernized new age nihilism. Your rebellion is a paradox to eternal truth
John Brannon is a beast.
THE fucking beast!!

100%, they’re so much better live than their recorded stuff
this guys have been making this amzing music since they were children

True
No. They used to be infinitely better.
Absolute hardcore legends
I’m seeing them play on Saturday with Circle Jerks!
My buddy is in texas

Saw them open for gwar the night before in Raleigh, they are awesome!!
Killer show! One of the best Old School HxCx still in active!
Saw NA in a small venue in 2013. Was amazing.
you guys should never play big stage, basements is where you belong and that is the fucking beauty of it!! 💖🙋♀️🤘
That bass is so nasty🔥🔥
this is aggressive nothing to envy the album
That crowd could probably be the most lame crowd ever. Wft?🤦🏻♂️ C’mon man,it’s NA!
I think John shouldn't have not wasted his voice for this, like there is zero feedback from the audience end.

Simply one of the best hardcore bands EVER...true legends!
Brutal
Getting the props they deserve.
Seeing my home town music scene playing on the other side of the planet.
ich hatte immer Negative Approach zusammen mit Raw Power, Bad brains und Terveet Kädet gehört.
good bands
Great songs, great performance.
I went to see Gwar for their fall tour. Gwar was fun….but these guys absolutely kicked ass!!!
Seen em with Ill repute and they were fucking sick .John is one cool cat

She's a fuckin hoser.whatd you expect ?hahahhahaha
That "blonde chick" is my sister. She is a deer now. Have a little tenderness ffs
Shes just German
Saw them at CBGB back in the late 80's, a little more lively than this, but the mix is fuckin solid.

El público quieto con esa bandota.
Exacto ese público pura shit...de seguro esperando a Ghost o a una banda mamona de rock😂

I was not aware that Socrates was skilled in the way of bass?
Look at that bearded man GO on that bass!
How did his head not split open?

Look at the audience Harrold!
Absoluto
Borstal Breakout it's by Sham 69.
...and this ģuitarrist with his back to the audience?? 😅😅
Shy.
anxiety? this aside, he absolutely kills those riffs
That seems to just be what Harold does
It’s for guitar feedback.
Every face would melt if he turned around. Is there an every face melting emoji? Exactly.
When girls start liking your band, you're finished. Glad this hasn't happened to NA
I used to play guitar with my back turned against the audience...it ain't worth it dude

Drummer looks like Brian Posehn
Guitarist looks like Charles Bronson
Unsane the peel sessions is a great record, NY noise rock> anything else
Emang goblog maneh Jon gurih pisan
Glower Power
long live NA
NA is god
Saw them with C.J. few weeks ago.. NA totally stole the show.. SO GOOD
the guitarist always standing with his back to the audience 🤨
You can see how much knowledge people have when they show a fork of fries during a hardcore show 🤦♂
Metal fans are feeble, like move
metal fans are generally unimpressed with such basic shit, pioneers or not
I came to see the pit...seems no-one of any era know what to do with 80s hardcore kids
HaiLLL john branon
The best hardcore band aside from black flag!!!
Now now, let's not get carried... wait - do you play the tambourine?
Negative approach are better
Lame that the guitarist keeps his back to the audience. Jim Morrison started out performing that way. It's a show..
lol, if the old guys in the audience were still young, there wouldn't be women there, they would've fleed in terror.
The crowd really has changed.

Facts, I go back to the 80's with this shit too, I am that old guy.
Nah man, plenty girls held their own in the pit, even waaaay way back in the eighties. In my city anyway.
