Sebastian in 2003 at a work site attempting to keep ten sheets of drywall from falling and crushing a worker underneath. Long story short my right arm bicep detached from the elbow and the left bicep detached from the shoulder. Good bye short sleeves, hello Long sleeves.

Doctors say “ nothing you can do about it” about many things ……..if there is no medication for it 😁
If his doctor told him that, he lied. It's a reattachment. But my ortho told me it wasn't worth it, at my age.
Similar story here. I woke up one morning and my SC joint was dislocated. I went to the doctor and he proceeds to tell me, “we typically see these injuries with blunt force trauma. Car accidents, football hits, etc’.
Uh… I went to bed. 🤷
Point being, sometimes there is no rhyme or reason to this stuff.

disconnected biceps can certainly be repaired by surgery. The doctor who said it can’t be repaired is not a sports doctor, I’m sure.
