- This run opened up some huge problems with the game.
I believe everyone knows that enemies can attack you even if you don't see them. But it seems like if you didn't see them spawning they will not attack you, and if you did see them - they are always a threat.
Every angel with trumpet or bow and homunculi with bow are terrible. While in previous games there were a very loud sound cue their attack is coming - there is nothing. You may try it yourself, but turning off every sound except this will not change anything. Add to this that they attack out of vision...
I knew some enemies in the game has broken hitboxes that don't match with animation at all, but turned out enemies with actually good and fair hitboxes are much more rare and are exception. Most of the enemies are broken. Even angels and demons, who worked preperly in previous game are broken in Astral chain 2. Ranged enemies, who attack offscreen and has no sound cue = perfect balance (I hope creature who made this to the game is fired already).
Bosses with adds like Mictlantecuhtli, Baal etc., and double bosses fights are awful.
I started this video with enthusiasm, wanted to do it without cheese and clock tower abuse, but seeing how bad this is I gave up and cheesed some bullshit fights.
Hey, but at least I found perfect set-up to be on top of portal to next stage before it even opens.

I actually like this video because narratively, Jeanne is supposed to be Cereza's equal in magical and combat ability yet they do her SO dirty even since the first game. Like wtfffffff
IDK, like shes the mistress in danger in second game and in the third one she almost dies to kraken and she just dies to a wheelchair man when bayonetta got stabbed by strider and pulls up her heart and regenerates like nothing happened

She is literally supposed to be Cereza's equal... even without access to the Right Eye of Darkness.
Compared to Vergil from DMC, Jeanne is a complete pushover as a rival character. At least whenever Vergil gets defeated it’s because he was narrowly beaten by Dante, his only equal in strength. Jeanne gets killed twice in these games by threats that she really could have easily seen coming. It’s really dumb, especially the Singularity one. After the first game they really didn’t know what to do with her and it sucks.

I feel like the bracelet was nerfed compared to the other games.
@@derrickdaniels3955 I mean ? They kinda rework the bracelet of time in this game to extend the witch time duration instead of activating them on command so I'd say its a pretty good deal
The fact you can desummon it after WT, get all that magic back instantly with a Spinning punch move and instantly use it again over and over again is insane 😂
I learned so much from this, especially that clock tower witch time was something I didn't pay enough attention to
I wish Jeanne had costumes to unlock, like Bayonetta. She basically a costumes since she can use all of Bayonetta weapons. luka wolf form should've been a playable character.

I'm glad you find it fun. Honestly, I find it lame. No skill, no fun, just use broken stuff. You are literally forced to use demons, because you eaither don't get enough combo points, too slow, can't deal with offscreen bs or all at once.

@@ashleyyoung796 accessories: no demon enrage + more demon damage - always. The only time I change it is in 3-5 - no demon enrage is changed for Gaze of despair (Baal song doesn't give enough combo pionts sometimes and jellyfishes break your combo when they split).
Weapons - actaully you can use Colour my world (spin2win attack) + umbran clock tower in all fights. It's the best choice for AOE and flying enemies. For very tanky enemies - Rodin - the best DPS, really easy to use and time infinite witch time. Abracadabra was used just for fun. Every time I used it Rodin would be better (may be except big headless angel with sword)

You make using Jeanne look so easy I suck with her I don’t understand her witch time at all and I’ve been playing since Bayonetta 1 😭
She activates witch time by moth within only.
But in you use R1+back+kick and mash dodge, you will get moth within easily. In bayo3 works only with Colour my world, Love is blue, Scarborough fair and All 4 one

When I look up videos it seems so easy. Stunlock with Clock and keep up combos. When I do it, even if I chain summon clock tower my combo resets...

Jeanne’s weaves are stronger than bayo’s but she can only activate witch time with moth’s within (her version of bat’s within)

I don't get it either. As I know (I may be wrong) Jeanne and Bayonetta has the same face model, you already can recolor Bayonetta's uniform into platinum-white, so all platinum had to do is to add Jeanne's hair .___.
Even if face is not the same, I believe (I may be wrong) I saw modders said body and head are separate models, so Platinum could just add already existing head model to already existing body and lock the color select.

@@sadpug9398 the problem is that they were lazy and they didn't give us fully playable and customizable Jeanne like sure I can use her in a side scroller and witch trials but if i can't see her in cutscenes or actually play the game with her what's the point? Same thing goes for the outfit is it really that hard to just give us the opportunity to change her fit? Why can bayo gave alt styles plus 1 and 2 og Outfits and Jeanne can't ??? I don't know.

So many stylish moves in the game to mix up with but all the verses are just spamming the same couple attacks and the clock 😒
Because this game's meta has nothing to do with style. Time and combo requirements aren't balanced at all, and taking no damage is too hard with the amount of bs this game throws at you
@@sadpug9398 Time and combo requirements are balanced around *not* doing this kind of spamming and clock tower witch timing through the whole trial, spamming and abusing it like this is what makes it broken. It introduced the improvisation multiplier to encourage making use of as many techniques as you can on top of combo staling, this franchise is literally all about style. This run looks like it wasn’t fun to play at all because it’s mashing the same combo again and again with enemies barely able to even move because you spam the clock tower on loop as soon as they spawn in. Taking no damage is a skill challenge and the clock spam is a lazy shortcut
