- Our trip was from kellettville to the Nebraska bridge on the Tionesta Creek in Pennsylvania. The trip was around 10.5 miles and around 4 hours. The water level at the USGS gauge in lynch (15 miles upstream) read 1.63 feet. Thanks for watching!
thanks for providing important details like times, distances, speeds, and water levels.
will make our upcoming trip much easier to plan
Glad it was helpful!
I'm going kyacking up the this weekend, also camping on the grounds!!
Nice!
Really enjoyed watching. Looks like a very relaxing trip. Looking forward to seeing more
+John brewer it's a great creek to float !!
Nice peaceful river/creek. Thanks for sharing it.
You're welcome, thanks for watching!
Nice video. Just up from Nebraska bridge on top of the hill is a great place to camp.
You must do more of these kayak videos
I love being up stream of the bridge. everyone I've met can't be beat. Fished this my whole life. Some of my best memories are fishing with my grand Dad.
Literally have a few pics from that same tree with an eagle in it. Probably the same bird or family of birds. We've been floating this multiple times per year for the past 5 years. Nice vid
+OmegaRed048 it's a great float! Thanks for watching.
Comin in hot alright!! She's gorgeous!! Good job old sport.
How does a trip like this work? Is there a shuttle service back, or are you on your own with two vehicles at each end?
Lovely terrain!!! Stunningly green.... maybe the Fall would be colorful! I'm inspired!
They do have shuttles but not in that section of the creek. I used two vehicles for this one, it’s worth the hassle, though. Thanks for watching!!
I watched this video several times and plan on doing this river as well as portions of the Allegheny Res, in a separate trip. The scenery in close range is stunning with the Tionesta. The Nebraska Bridge area looks pretty desolate. You must have dropped one car off there and then continued down to drop in at Kellettville... Then float back to Nebraska Bridge? How long is the drive from Nebraska Bridge back to Kellettville x 2 + the 4hr float? I'm coming from Cleveland. Thanks for your fantastic narration! You have me on this river!!!!
Bridgette Halloran I have a yak you can borrow and a canoe for rent this summer
Does your USGS Gage give flow in CFS.
Tends to be the most useful measure.
Looks like a great float.
Yes it’s CFS
Thanks for watching!
Great Video! I live in FL but PA is my home state and love floating rivers, it brings back good memories. I'm semi retired and hoping to spend the summer in this neck of woods. Can I ask what camera you used to film?
+Joseph Lavetsky thanks joe! I used a Sony handcam hdr Pj260v it may be discontinued but that will get you close. I think any of the Sony films hd cameras would be good. Thanks for watching!
