I will never understand why a girl who gets cheated on blames the other girl (especially when she was lied to) more than the guy who absolutely knew what he was doing. And of course, Brittany can't expect support when she's treating team members so poorly. She's a bully.
She was under the impression they broke up and therefore did it on morally acceptable grounds. As well, retaliation for an action such as threats and the sort is not only natural in human nature but also probably a very agreeable action in the situation. Brittany would have caused much more trouble on the team and not as captain than off the team, making cutting her the best option. Also, Olivia made good choices regarding Jake. She knew he was then in a relationship and decided that she would not pursue him any further, making her even more morally correct. She will not deal with a cheater and she never intended to in the first place. She was morally correct in every action and honestly it is plausible that you could do the same thing if you were in a similar position.

I suggest actually thinking about the issue and coming to a rational outcome rather than running exclusively on emotions that avoid any intellectual reasoning. If you seriously believe Brittany was in the right and you would do the same, and can not be convinced otherwise, I hope you are at least rightful in other meaningful areas ^^
