    Have endgame farms gone too far. Yes bro in every concept. Mindless spamming buttons , mindless waste of time in the same areas over and over and over. It's not an Adventurous Game anymore. It's repetitive grinding game. They should rename it from Adventure Quest Worlds into Grinding Quest Bots. Because that's what the game became.

      It was worse before imo. Nowadays at least we have the classes to deal with hard grinds.

      Currently grinding Blinding Light of Destiny after getting back into the game. 11k essense is extremely time consuming.

      Now farming is improved but not by much.
      Easy fix? For late game classes/item farming, why not send us to multiple locations of old chaos lords. Same locations for nostalgic purposes for the most dedicated players(I miss movies and arcangrove tbh) but add to their lore by doing new quests with end items foe those classes. These revamped chapters could have the same enemies, but like raid bosses in Borderlands, they have increased HP/damage, maybe add skills or resistance to regular enemies and make bosses (nor just chaos lords, but 4 example in mobius make Hydra, the gargoyle boss, Escherion, etc like powerful bosses. Bridge the gap between boss, and ultra with skills that require a friend to reliably beat (unless you prepare, use potions, certain enhancements, etc to solo the bosses). Then it would be maybe two old locations, two end campaign items for a class. It would still take time, but you would have more story involved, nostalgic areas with a fresh kick, and it would give you some sense of progression. Your completing an add on to a story you once enjoyed and haven't revisited for years, and being rewarded for doing so

      Oh and just for a little non spoiler tidbit, incase there are puzzles or you just want to figure it out yourself, make it so there aren't any wiki notes on it for at least six months. Then by the time a new revamp story is ready, the last one will be more accessible for those getting to it late

      @@RicochetAQW true that ... But still. Take the achievement of Touch Some Mass for example. 1 000 000 stars ... That's 1 million kills. They increased it a bit yes for some time but now it's again 1 kill one count. They are just testing people's patience. But I see more and more people quitting so that testing is not going well for them.

    I hate that the endgame farms are locked behind dailies or weeklies. I don't mind if something takes many hours to farm but make it actual hours of gameplay not just waiting for quests to reset.

    End game enhancement is also one of the "good feature" they added. It is known as the hardest thing to grind, like damn. Its so hard to get the enhancement but also thats so good to boost ur dmg. I think back then the best enhancement was just normal enhance for armors and awe enhance for weap, now that there is that end game enhancement, the game has more variety of playstyle to play with.

    about first damage boosts weapons, the old Grimblight of destiny used to do 10x damage to Chaos, that was absolutely insane and everyone who knew bought it for 2k ACs and abused it until they nerfed it way later

      @@CoBeMuaDong4100 then why making it that powerful in the first place. People paid money for that and it became nerfed. Also with the time keeper class it was so powerful everyone wasted their hero points on it then they nerfed it. No wonder people keep quitting more and more.

      @@borcesiljanoski1512 they admit they messed up and refund the ACs to everyone in full, it’s now only 5% instead of 10x since they changed it

    With how crazy those Endgame Grind are, I think they really should implement Auto Attack system, basically you can Turn On Auto Attack and set the Skill Sequence that you want and it automatically repeat it. Because manually Spamming 1 - 5 Keys for hundred thousand or even million time is ridiculous.
    Lets set an example, Non-Insignia Arcana Invoker grind, that shit is easy but there's a lot of low chance drop requirement that WILL wear you finger out, lets say in average the drop is dropping per 4 minute, and you need 18 of it, that's 1 hours and 12 minutes for 1 out of 4 requirement for 1 item, and you NEED 21 ITEMS. I've finished the AI grind Non-Insignia way and it took me about 36-46 hours of grinding, and I have most Endgame stuff to make my grind quicker (CAV with Rav and proper Ench for Solo, AM with Elysium and proper Ench for Farming, and I got Chrono too), yet it still took me about 36-46 hours to get. Now imagine if someone grind it without Endgame stuff, lets say all he had is ArchPaladin for Soloing, and Blaze Binder for Farming, imagine how long would it take for him if a player with proper Endgame stuff have to grind for that many hours ?
    And what Rico said is very true, whoever in charge of making Quest Requirement for Endgame Grind doesn't even do the grind themself, they just slap whatever number they want and call it a day, without actually making a simulation of how reasonable and engaging the grind is. Man it's 2024 already, and a lot of other Grindy MMORPG game already implement Auto Attack or even Auto Playing in a way. Alina once asked of the idea of implementing what I mentioned in AQW, and of course people agree for that feature being implemented in AQW, BUT WHEN ?
    No wonder a lot of people use Grimoire and their variant although they're not botting, only using it for the Auto Skill. AQW grind doesn't treat you like human, so why would you play it 100% humanly ? Not only that, I know several people that still use Grimoire client although they're not botting and not using Auto Skill anymore, purely because how Grimoire Client more is optimized and smoother compared to AE Client. 133Spider is truly the GOAT for at least adding A LOT of QOL changes for AE Client, imagine if AE Client still obsolete, it's even more unbearable to play with.

    I think they want the long farms to keep players playing, but it’s done the opposite for me. I don’t bot bc Idk how and don’t want to be banned, but I’m a grown ass man now and don’t have hours upon hours to do boring, mindless farming. I know people will reply and say that I’m complaining too much, but these same people take pride in gatekeeping items because of how long it took them to get it. Idk how people could want these incredibly long farms; I personally think they could be a half of their current difficulty and still be too much

    I've played aqw since 2009 but now, i quit farming new stuff when the ultra boss becoming a common requirements for EVERY SINGLE farmable items
    man, i just wanted to enjoy the game
    haven't touched the game since then

      Idk. I think the ultra bosses were a good addition. It brings more challenging content that rewards you instead of the mindless farm.

      Plus, there are a heck amount of new/ duplicate boosted damage weapons right now flooding the game

      @@warth45 No not really. Aqw is lacking a lot of challenging content, so having more is a good thing imo. As for boosted damage weapons, I think that’s a good thing too. It gives players plenty of options to choose from to farm and have enough of those boosted weapons to each have their own forge/awe enhancement.

    The biggest update I remember in AQW was the combat update we didn't always have the current mana system we used to have thousands of mana and it acted like a health bar for skills when they changed it to the current 100 mana system it completely changed the way we played
    Edit: looking back we didn't have 1K+ mana it seems what changed is how mana worked there was no mana regen for crits in fact there were no crits at all and mana just slowly replenished over time the combat updated added crits and mana regen on crits and set all players to 100 mana regardless we no longer had to worry about managing our mana and only being able to use a few skill before running out and it sped up combat immensely
