I thought you nicely captured the kind of 'flat' affect of that amp without having the tone go muddy. It needs some sparkle for leads, but the rhythm tone is solid. I always think "Bluesbreaker" when I hear this tone.
I tell ya Mr Jason once you start understanding your eq and comp set up and learn a lil on placing right mic to right cab in the right way you can really make alot of these amps in helix sound great to ones personal taste , and esp with the helix help list of amps that has a synopsis of the amp and ways to set it up for best sound , your presets are so well balanced and arranged and with a lil personal tweaking they sound absolutely amazing and they also can teach someone learning helix how to dive in and really develop a preset that hits exactly how one wants
I think the amp still sounds a little muddy. I've never really cared for the Marshall amps in Helix. I think your preset is as good as it gets. However, the JTM-45 patch you demoed for Tonex recently sounds absolutely killer! Great job.
