Sir thank you very much for you presentation. The Flying Tigers were true heroes and the saviors of so many Chinese. Thank god for Roosevelts decision. The squadron may be the best example in history of what can be achieved when the brass steps aside and lets an intelligent man run the show.
I just finished reading Daniel Ford's, "Flying Tigers: Claire Chennault and His American Volunteers, 1941-1942." The book concentrates on the AVGs and the Burma campaign, but it is nice to hear Mr. Javitt talk about the later iteration via the 14th Air Force. Although the book does spend a lot of time talking about the transition, it only speaks briefly about the accounts after the units were melded back into the U. S. Army. It's nice to hear that side of it.
A very moving presentation. As a Chinese-American, I will always be grateful to the American Volunteer Group (Flying Tigers).
Another great documentation. A real piece of history!
Great man with a great story!

If you have a chance to, please thank this gentleman for his service.
Mark Cotton Hal Javitt passed away this June. He was the last surviving member of the Flying Tiger.
I have to admit that I deeply respect those men!
Very good Presentation,

I really enjoyed this talk. My cousin -- the late Jackson Nunnally -- seems to have had sort of the same story. I would love to talk to Mr. Javitt!
