"I don't think there's supposed to be rice in it, but...whatever." Spoken like a true cook. And I'm not being sarcastic! Lol. This is how new favorites are made.
I love that you cook in a reallistic way. When you watch other youtubers cooking you can often tell that they would not cook like that in their everyday-life.
I love this because this is exactly how I cook. Just go through the fridge with no plan and try different things and if something doesn't work I go with it and see what evolves. That's how I like to cook, all about experimenting! These look SO good!
Oh. My. God. You guys are literally amazing, so creative and your filming, music, and overall production abilities are outstanding. Your videos always leave me in awe!
hi m Indian... n we make pakoras with left over rice very often... What we make is just mash the rice in cheakpea flour n fry it in smaller sizes (of course add some chilli powder n salt)...but I really liked your innovation.. thanks 😊
I'm not even kidding, this couldn't have come at a better time. I made 4 cups of rice for stir fry two nights ago and my husband was like "what in the world are we supposed to do with all this rice?" #DivineIntervention
Don't know what this is, but my goodness does it look fresh and complex tasting! That pan is a big ass pan. I don't think I've ever seen one that size in a commercial kitchen! Thanks for posting : )
I really love this series. You are teaching people how to think in the kitchen. I consider myself a great cook but I learn something new from you in every video.
These videos and the challenges are my favourite food vids on the Internet 😄 the ol' figure it out as you go along is just excellent thank you both 👍👍👍
+hot for food these "receipe?!" videos have been such a huge help to my journey into a plant based diet!! :D It's only been a month, but I have so much less stress and fear about throwing things together and do it multiple times every week! Thank you for the help and encouragement and empowerment you've given me!
That looks delicious! You and John inspire me to stop being intimated of cooking and to have fun while doing it. Seriously, I have gained a lot of confidence in my own cooking abilities just from watching hot for food and other vegan cooking channels. Muchoo love
I'm not vegan but... I absolutely love your videos, Lauren! They have inspired me to start cooking at home more often and to substitute in vegan options to just generally eat healthier. I love tricking my senses and especially my friends and family! Love love love this channel!
I love these videos. I find them very inspiring and the little tips (like what kind of flours and what not to use to thicken, fluff, etc.) are so helpful. I have some leftover veggie tikka masala I made and I really think they'd be delicious done like this. Might be trying that tonight!
I love this show because now almost nothing goes to waste in our fridge. There's definitely 1-2 nights a week where I just have no clue what to do so I just start pulling stuff out. I love the idea :) thanks for all the inspiration :)
😻i looove how much improv went into this, I've never seen anything like it and it's very similar to what it's like to cook in 'real life '. Two thumbs up!
When I have days off, I find myself experimenting in the kitchen like you, because goals. And I'm so glad you made pakoras because I thought I'd never be able to have them again!
I always say I wanna be a Lauren Toyota vegan. These videos inspire me. I am still struggling with throwing things together without planning. Xo Davita
These are pretty similar to vada pav, an Indian street food of fried potato balls served on a bun with chutney. Looks yummy with the addition of rice and love the healthier take with sweet potato.
THIS IS AMAZING. This series is so awesome! Super inspiring, super motivating. I can't wait until I have spare time to mess around in the kitchen again this summer, trying out new recipes and coming up with my own. Your guys' channel is just the best! Keep up the amazing content! 😁
I found this channel yesterday and It's officially my favourite food channel ever. I love the quality, creativity and the fact that it's vegan! ^^ I want to eat everything that you make :)
