You can tell the perilous moons guide is rushed when they recommend normal food and boost pots. Use the food and pots in the minigame, can also catch moths for prayer. Best to start at eclipse moon.
btw, what i've heard is that praying melee does absolutely nothing, i havent tried it personally but ive seen some people say that pray melee is a waste of prayer and they take the same amount of dmg regardless. i havent tried this yet but that might be something to note
@@TokOSRS yeah i got the chance to try it today for a couple of runs and i definitely think praying melee doesnt seem to do much of anything. also noticed a lot less people praying melee today than on the day of release

I swear there was a line somewhere in the quest that says prayers are not effective in the fights.
