I'm Nigerian and I have been following MI since my high school days when I heard one of his early songs and MI has undoubtedly proved himself a GOAT in the game but this guy Shadow Boxxer!!! This guy is insane!!!! This dude deserves recognition for this absolute genius of a track. I would love to see how MI would react to this but at the same time I'm pretty sure he would not.

The very day Shadow Boxxer uploaded this track on his social media platforms, he was live on Facebook where he talked about the songs in his 2019 album "LUCKY 7".
He then gave his reasons for the "MI was" Freestyle.
He acknowledges MI's impact on the African Rap Community. He recognizes him as one of the greatest African MCs.
His only problem was MI's verse in the Martell Cypher 2 when he(MI) made mention of the number of rappers and countries he respects "Two Ghanaians and three rappers from S.A, One Kenyan Rapper can step to me on the best day" ...
He never expected MI to respond because he (Boxxer) doesn't have the numbers but, he's trying to let other rappers who claim to be the best to understand that there's more to it than they already know.
I'm Nigerian but this guy is dope, he went hard on this. He just gained a fan.

But this dude is one of the most underrated rapper in Africa, and even in Sierra Leone.
This is probably because he puts little effort in his musical career.
He had been recently signed by Iddriss Elbah, who also trance background from Sierra Leone.

However, Xzu-B and MDG came after him right after for shitting on the country's rappers on this track. Shadow is the most skilled rapper from Sierra Leone. He is based in the UK. Rumours is he is Idris Elba's cousin. I think that's true cos they are always together. Anyway, Shadow is the most skilled in Salone but the people largely revere Kao Denero as their Hip-hop King cos of his longevity and legacy. Plus most relate more to Kao Denero. Lots of dope rappers in Sierra Leone too. Some rap in Krio (native language). Check them out when you can, bro. Good work, Steve.
