He found true love. He was wise enough not to ruin it. She’s a very strong woman. The lifestyle of rock and roll will destroy the strongest marriage. She’s a truly remarkable woman to put up with it and keep it happy and loving. I hope their love will stand the test of time.
@sddukay1744So? He was talking about not being a saint in his early relationship. He made sure not to mess up the home life and told Dorothea everything. She’s a very understanding woman. Also Jon never said he cheated cheated (hooked up with girls while they were dating), he could’ve been talking about other things. As far as we know, until Jon tells the story about how he wasn’t a saint, we don’t know for sure what he did that was cheating. But at the end of the day, they are a happily married couple that has been married for over 30 years, so does it really matter? No.
@@Mystery-899agree he doesn’t really fully elaborate on “saints” comment.. depends what you consider a good husband, he said he misses a lot of events etc. not putting the rubbish out or doing the washing up could be considered a bad husband. However he knows his to generate headlines and he knows what he is doing!

Siendo latina en la época de los 80 a mi me encantaba el grupo Bon Jovi , yo fiel a mi ídolo, en esa época ya se sabia de la relacion que tenia Bon Jovi y su novia Dorothea que hoy en día es su señora ,siempre admire eso de el y de ella ,Por lo mismo siempre busque una relacion seria y la encontré a mis 19 años , ya llevo 30 años casada con el amor de mi vida y tengo tengo 3 hijos hermosos , solo decir el respeto la amistad el compañerismo y el apoyo son los que te pueden llevar a tener una relacion hermosa y duradera .

With Jon starting a Rock Star and Movie Career, he could have had any of those high-end movie stars or models. Instead, he found strong love for his high-school girlfriend and came home to her house and proposed. They got married and with TRUE LOVE for Dorothea have STAYED A LOVING MARRIED COUPLE FOR 40 yrs with a loving family of 4 children. So Romantic! Dorothea being a young bride must have strength trust,, faith and patience when Jon and BonJovi band toured for weeks and months. It really does take alot of strength to be home raising kids too while your husband traveled. It ain't easy..I know from my own experience. Jon made a lot of bucks to have a good life for his family and it was tiring being away, but you have to really thank Dorothea for keeping the family together. She's a VERY STRONG AND TRUSTING LADY. I'm thrilled they have been together all these years and have a beautiful life together. Plus they are good people with kind hearts who help the unfortunate. Bravo!!!❤
They have had their problems, and do not be fooled by only hearing one video. While I am hoping they are still together, they have had some issues with one of their children.

They're together only on paper. And bc Jon was sick these past two years. She's dirty on him for comjng out with the truth that he had girls. And lots of them..I know. I was one age 19 and he 38. But I have great memories of those times. I had a crush on him from age 10 and late into his fame and am glad I have the memories of meeting him and spending time with him.
