I know! This just...wow! It makes you wonder what DID occur in The Chamber of Sages! You wanna know something: As funny as this is, it would have been funnier if at 2:07 if he had lost that chess match to Link! XD
To be fair, in regards to Rauru's Light Medallion, the other temples were essentially prisons, infected by Ganon's dark magic. If the evil bosses and such weren't there and LInk simply met up with the sages, yeah they'd just give him the Medallion too. Besides we can look at the 'journey' to get the Master Sword as his temple.

Very true. But since Rauru has already awakened as a sage, there was no point for Link to explore the Temple of Light.

If you look on either IGN, zeldadungeon.net or zelda wiki (one of em) they classify cuccoos as being more of a threat than Ganon it's pretty funny.
The first time I ever witnessed the cuccoo wrath was A Link to the Past. I was 10 and as any healthy American child I thought it would be damn awesome to beat up on something that couldn't fight back. It's 22 years later... I still don't fuck with dem cuccoos man

And for once I totally agreed with Navi (momentarily) until I warped 7 years into the future with no visible way back to my childhood and I'm like:

+SpeedsterX123 Beats what the other Sages were dealing with in those same seven years....If you count this video into the canon, Zelda was on the run for those seven years, constantly being hunted and tracked by Ganondorf, forcing her to disguise herself as Shiek, Saria and the other Kokiri were being plagued by various monsters, Poes and a phantom version of Ganondorf, Darunia and the Gorons were nearly fed to a revived dragon that had plagued them years before, was finally killed and now is back, Ruto's kingdom, Zora's Domain, has been frozen over, her people are on the brink of extinction and her father was encased in cursed ice, all the result of a curse Ganondorf laid out, placing a giant amoeba inside their most sacred of places, Impa has been trying to protect Zelda all this time as best as she could, only for a cursed spirit she sealed away to break out, forcing her to go into a temple themed around death to try and seal it away again and Nabooru.....Well, she was brainwashed into Ganondorf's service by two very old and very evil witches, who can't even agree on their age.....All while Rauru was sitting pretty, eating ice cream and fried cucco while watching tv, occasionally dusting a continuously sleeping boy and....doing some *very* weird things with/to him in that time period!

Theory:
Rauru actually has a temple, when you pull out the Master Sword in OOT, Link from TP enters the Temple of Time (Through that door in Sacred Grove), that's why the Master Sword is absent, when you strike the Master Sword (TP) in the pedestal, it opens the entrance to The Temple of Time OR the Temple of Light.
Maaaaan, can't believe it's been 10 years! Still one of the funniest Zelda related animations out there. Rauru's I love you so much at the end still gets me after all this time.
On a sidenote, Rauru does have a temple, the Temple of Light, which is situated deep within the Sacred Realm, however, when Ganondorf entered the Realm and took the Triforce from the Temple, his powers corrupted the Realm and the Temple, including Rauru's powers, which at the point where Link reawakens, the Sage is only powerful enough to protect the Chamber of Sages deep within the Temple of Light.
Hands down one of my fav AGG animations if not my favorite! That tearful "I love you so much" at the end gets me every time! XDD

They had it first in Rauru's hand, then Link's as he pulled away, then snapped back to Rauru. Major oops.....
