@@Haplessnote9418 you new drummers just making up names for old things, even a converted bass drum is a floor tom, a gong is a big round brass thing, and if that's a bass drum on Its side that not even a bass drum size, it isn't a bass drum if it's under 22 inches,
@@jamesedwards-tn6gp thank you! It started out as a 3pc(12,16,22) and grew from there. Each piece was added individually after that and I got lucky with the 6” and 20” drums. The 6, 8, and 10 were rewrapped by me to match the set.

I don’t think I’d use anything else at this point. As far as the toms go, I like to have a lot of voices for music. Sure I can achieve everything music needs with a 4 pc, but where’s the fun in that? lol

Nice rig. Real drummers use 5 or more toms because they know how to play those pivots. Unconfident amateurs stick with the trendy 4 or 5 if they add the second floor tom.

@@racerx2580 I understand everybody has a different preference. I’ve tried Remo heads and just couldn’t get used to them. I have no issue tuning these up and they record beautifully. I think the Remo vs evans vs Aquarian etc will always remain for all drummers. lol

@@drumminjc oh absolutely. I've got my PDPX7 in white stashed away in a climate controlled storage. Someday soon. Aquarian heads were always more expensive than Remo or Evans. If I remember correctly.
