Damn the transition from tv audio to the sonos arc is insane. Sonos arc sounds really good and im sure its 10000 times better in real life. I just ordered the sonos arc soundbar and i cant wait for it to arrive tomorrow, monday 27th :D. I will buy the subwoofer at some point, i heard its a huge upgrade. All reviews says the soundbar itself is insane sound and even better with the subwoofer and side speakers.
The IR passthrough is dandy, but since it's pretty high, there's a good chance it can block the bottom portion of your tv, thus you missing the entire view of the tv screen. One could always have the tv legs/stand sit on a piece of wood paneling just high enough to clear the Sonos Arc lol
I had a lower end $200 samsung soundbar and sub. It was ok and always wanted to upgrade to something premium. I waited for this Sonos Arc and I'm glad I did. Watching movies on this is so nice. It makes the experience of any media content so much better. It's well balanced as well. I don't have eArc support just the ARC but alone is a huge upgrade from my previous. I'm future proofed as im also looking to upgrade my TV soon. This Arc is no let down and worth the price.
@sanju2 oh snap you got the sub as well. Nice, first I'll invest on a TV with EARC then I'll consider the subwoofer. I'm very pleased as it is now. I can only imagine with EARC and a sub... My mind will sure be blown.
Thanks for the great video. I’ve just ordered one and was concerned about my tv remote not being able to function, but you’ve answered my question about IR pass through. Cheers again mate
Just got this a couple of days ago with the sub. Not really feeling much separation between the left and right speakers even with trueplay tuning. Anyone else feel this way?
The main issues I see is that there are no HDMI ins, no audio in, and no BT. On my Nakamichi Shockwafe 9.2.4, I have a cassette deck, tuner, and turntable installed, and in my opinion listening to streamng media though the sound bar/subwoofers is terrific.
Got mine last Wednesday. I’ve owned a few Atmos bars and the only one giving this Arc a run for it’s money is the Samsung Q90R. This thing is a monster.
It sucks that Sonos doesn't have true play feature for android phones. They can at least add it to flagship android phones. Also no DTS:X support is a huge turn off for me.
All iOS devices use the same mics so you just need to borrow an iPhone or iPad. Sonos has nothing against Android but they have hundreds of different mics making it technically impossible to use them for true play. Read this years ago when I bought a 5 gen1. Remember gen1 products give up to 30% off new Sonos items and you can keep and use them.
Very helpful video bro new subscriber here bro just order mine with the sub after a very long hours watching youtube channels 😂 just want to ask you please if ever for what ever reason we have to unplugg the system do i have to reset it all again i mean to set it up again like the first day?thank you in advance and more power to ur channel
@@TomasVillegas love sonos you can upgrade your sound anytime i have sonos beam and arc plus sonos ones as my surrounds and sonos sub once you have this setup its mad sound and clarity with sweet bass not overpowering

You'll love it. I loved it so much I bought a second one. 😅

I completely agree. The sound this thing produces is great.

Glad this helped. Thanks for watching. 🤝
Just a heads up...some Sony 2019 G Series models support eARC....I have an X950G and eARC is fully functional.
Good to know thanks for sharing.
You can really tell the difference listening to the dialogue on the ARC. I purchased the ARC based on rave reviews from every RUclips reviewer.
I totally agree. It's very crisp and clear.
Thanks for the video. Is it possible to see the volume level on tv when you change it? I know you can see it on the app.
Yes you can with Sony TVs. I can't speak for other brands.
I'm really interested in this. Thanks for the update. Im looking at getting the full 5.1 system. It costs way too much but it might be worth it.

Can you play spotify on android phone through the arc?
P.s i can see you grooving @13:02 :P
Yes you can. 😉👍

It's definitely a trade off for simplicity. This is definitely aimed at the person that just wants a plug and play solution.

Lg also coming out with a bang as well.
I'm been thinking about buying it it is really worth it?
I’m slightly disappointed that it doesn’t have any HDMI outputs I really need a soundbar with at least 2
It is a bummer. You could always get an HDMI splitter.
I just bought one also. $1395 in Australia 🇦🇺🙄
Holy smokes! Still worth it in my opinion 👍

It would be nice if they brought Trueplay to Android.

No you don't have to worry about having to set it up again if you unplug it.

I really purchased it. With no sub. 😉
