Very First Year of the Elky. One Of If Not My Favorite Year of the Car simply because it's in the 50s which represents the Hight of American Automobile Glitz, Glory, Glamour and Guadiness.

My first car bought as a semibasket case that ran on a inline 235cu in 6 cylinder 3 on tree manual, no power steering slow lumbering car. 9 months of body restoration at the Hickam AFB Hawaii "hobby shop" ,bought in 1971 for 300$ found out it was the only 59 in the state of Hawaii.at the time.

It's Just El Camino. Pontiac, Oldsmobile and Cadillac Never Made Versions of this. The GMC Sprint didn't come out until 1971 and It's Name was Changed to Caballero for the 3rd Gen in 1978.

LOVE the car, but would not be practical as a daily driver. This is a museum piece but take my $19,900 and i'd drive it eryday.
