Those Large cap stocks were small or mid cap....so at present investing in large cap doesn't help in huge growth of portfolio...only it help in securing portfolio of those who invested in large cap stocks when they were mid or small caps.
So I believe investing more in good mid and small caps and very less in large cap. But keeping in mind to diversify

apna to funda ye hai ke agar kisi ke pass ek laakh hai to small cap or micro cap companyo ki 20 companiyo me 5 - 5 hazaar laga kar chhor do isse ye hoga ke agar kisi company me aapka paisa dooba to sirf 5 hazaar hi dubega per uper ki koi limit nahi hai, chahe ek hi company aapko 1 lakh bana kar dede. Example Waree, E2E, Skygold etc.

Manappuram Finance has shown a significant increase of over 70% in its share price over the last 12 months, while Muthoot shares have also seen a substantial gain of close to 50%. It's important to consider the recent market activities, muthoot is micro cap compony and high risk appetite.

Though i am an investment consultant, i never pass judgment on specific approach. I invest in personal capacity in all segments. So i will not rule out large caps. Five years back i picked Asian Paints at around 650 and since then i have found no reason to sell even though it is stagnant at various stages. If i ignore short periods of 8 to 12 months then over 5 year period the company appreciates. Same is the case with few other blue chips. So a mix of large caps and midcaps and small caps is good but decide mix beforehand. Look at the companies and then decide the mix.
