That ball on the ground at 1:35 gave me anxiety ha
This guy reminds me of Bowser on Mario Tennis 😂
Lol
Lol
😂😂😂😂
If grey shirt could move even just a little bit he’d be a great player.
He would be a lot better, not great but a lot better lol
imagine if he had an actual backhand..
His strokes are definitely far better (minus the lack of backhand), few months of good diet and exercise and he'd dominate black - interesting match showing superior strokes against superior agility.
clay surface defintely hurts him. he is probably a 4.5 on hardcourt.
@@rolandharris6843 Clay slows the game so he has more time to move and adjust the position. He would struggle on faster hard court.
I used to play with a guy who sliced a lot like Shane here. It's futile to rally ground strokes especially without any significant topspin with these players. And if you buy into you can slice back to them, they can slice better with precise placement because their slices are ground strokes.
For real. I was thinking the same thing. 25lb or so and he'd destroy
If Juliano had better mobility he could be a 4.5 or even a 5.0 level. He has great strokes and power when he can actually get to the ball
you need more than strokes to ascend. tactics and strategy. Jul relying on that slice when he has a good backhand.
Juliano zero footwork and depends mostly on slice to make up
no...he isnt even split stepping. look at him completely flat footed on returns.
Nice video. That facility is beautiful!
Thank you very much!
What a forehand slice at 0:24!!!
Gray moves surprisingly well for a big man
Maybe not standing heavy on his heels until the serves land on his side would be a good thing though. Don't understand why he doesn't care to get ready
the giant moved pretty damn fast!
The big guy seems to move pretty well, has a wicked slice.
Nice sliding. I'm around the same level and have never figured it out on clay.
They actually slide incorrectly
Just imagine when you were a kid and u were running and sliding with you socks on down ur hallway or kitchen in you house. Except ur right foot would be infront and stretched outwith the weight on it or left if ur a lefty
wow i had never seen grey clay, we only have red here in France i believe
anyways thanks for the vid
All clay courts here in the US are mostly green clay.
Yep, red clay is baked bricks which get crushed, "terre battu" green "clay" isn't really clay but actually volcanic material, that is basaltic rock w/various minerals in it that give it the green color. It's usually called by its brand name eg Har-Tru courts although they are generically referred to as clay courts.

Pretty strong standard for 4.0
I reckon it's because it's only a highlight videos, so only the flashy points. It's easy to think higher of someone if you only see them at your best, so watchout for it so you can recognize it and not let it affect you by making you unsure about yourself and comparing yourself to their standards.
So weird to me that 4.0s don’t have more traditional looking serves
I prefer the look of green clay over the European red clay any day. Looks so much nicer.
Nice footage, what camera are you using? after similar quality for my videos. Cheers
Iphone 10s
Shane could move up to 4.5 if he got some bend in his serving arm and moved his feet all the time during the point. Some tricky shots from Juliano.
yes. he also doesnt load it up the racket on his serve at all. probably muscle memory ingrained after years.
Good game shane
Damn good tennis courts! Must be a country club
andre agassi on the next court teaching
nice match! two players seem to have the same coach for serve, they look identical : p
Oh really?
Player in the lighter shirt has a great serve, but typical club player hacking style. Player in the black shirt has some really good groundies , but his serve is not that great. Otherwise, decent match.
hit more drop shots make him run lol
Hey! Which camera are you using? I just started my channel but my image quality isnt very good
for this video, I just used an iphone xs
@@Shanestravels Oh I thought it was a small goporo type camera. How many GB does a video like this weigh roughly?
Great 4.0 hitting. Serve need variaton & fundamental correction. Net gane need little bit patience. But this is really great 4.0 game!
Shane’s serve is at least a whole level behind his nicely competent ground strokes. Forehand grip and Waiters Tray service motion is inhibiting any potential he has to develop a true service weapon. Also as well as he moves a true and concise Split Step would allow him to reach even more balls than he presently does.
I keep seeing all these players in the south on clay courts. Are there public clay courts there? There's nothing but hard courts in the north, but I'd love to hit the clay sometime. If you're ever in northern Indiana we should hit!
Try england where all public courts are concrete with a 2 inch coating of gravel lol
Never played on clay before I’d like to some day
Not sure why grey wears tennis shoes.
Bro nice play. You can keep improving your serve and work on pronation, your skill will be up to a new level.
Yeah thanks
Anyone else scream at 1:34 ?
Guy in grey could curve the ball nicely
I'd say this is about 4 1/3 .
0:27 fatality
Shane needs to take his time with the serve. His body is falling forward as he serves snd so gives himself no time to drop the raquet head down behind his shoulder blade in a throwing motion.
These guys would be typical club 4.0 players in sw Ohio region.
I find these players very irritating to play with who keep playing slices and drops and make the game defensive.
Glad that black t shirt guy won the match.
👍
Good match as for amateurs
black shorts gray tshirt - gray shorts black tshirt - WTF - 😅
4.0 really???
Is this 4.0 level? These guys have a lot of holes in their game
That's precisely why they're 4.0. You're supposed to have holes in your game at that level.
if there are'nt holes in their games they would be 4.5 or 5.0 lol
No, some holes are ok but thease guys have to many technicals holes, defenetly lower than 4.0
the serve is more like 3.5, smash and volley is also 3.5
Suresh
3.0 for sure, 3.5 at the most.
Yeah I was pretty surprised that these guys are considered 4.0. Not dogging on them at all, it’s just that where I live and play 4.0 players are much better than this.
Omg the guy with the grey shirt can't move for none.. His opponent kept hitting the ball right to him smh
Definitely not 4.0
then what is it?
"4.0" xDDD
Greys more of a 3.5 buddy needs to move his body
This is not 4.0
maccajoe no chance.
This is 3.0
I’m a 3.5 and I would destroy both these guys.

haha trying videoing yourself and see if you have the audacity to make the same comment
‚White shirt kind of a bum
What ?3.5 haha...
Gray shirt’s movement is horrible.
This is more like 3.0 or 3.5.
You have got to be kidding me...
Troll :p
@@hanbrianlee clearly
These guys are 4.0? I'm thinking tennis ratings are about as inaccurate as golf handicaps.
