About Jason Derulo:
Jason Derulo is a versatile artist who has left an indelible mark on the modern music scene. Drawing from his Haitian heritage and musical influences ranging from Michael Jackson to Usher, Derulo's distinctive sound seamlessly blends pop, R&B, and electronic elements.
Beyond music, Derulo has ventured into fashion and acting while staying involved in charitable work. With an enduring commitment to his craft and a finger on the pulse of evolving trends, Jason Derulo continues to evolve as a prominent figure in contemporary music.
Jason is also the author of Sing Your Name Out Loud: 15 Rules for Living Your Dream, where he discusses his early life, defining moments in his career, and the principles that enabled him to achieve success. He wrote the book after his reinvention in 2020, after becoming one of the most followed creators on TikTok, when he realized his personal rules for self-mastery and success are applicable anywhere, for anyone, under any circumstance.
"You should speak to yourself like you speak yo your very best friend." Salute to this
Been so long since I heard of this artist. Happy to see him in content with a topic that I'd never expect.
This was actually good, it's tough to share things like that.
Have a great year everybody .
Surely a guy who always says "Jason Derulo" at the beginning of each track has experience with insecurity.
This makes me want to die
p a i n
I live under a rock . So I did not know him . Now he is my hero !
This was a really good little look into your life. I appreciate the self talk part. I needed this ❤
Grateful Jason is speaking about self-compassion, this is so important ❤
This is the middle school hit maker for me. JASON
No matter how successful someone is in any sphere of life, we are all humans and have our own hardships and insecurities. It's not about the family or country you were born into, not about our education or lack thereof, everyone just has to go through their journey and learn their lessons. I wish everyone good luck this luck!
Real talk. We all n this together, gotta lift one another up! We all can b better n progress forward! Stay blessed n b grateful for wut u have! Peace n love!
The world is really a tough place to be in, no destination at all. We keep pushing.
Not a bad interview✨✨
Thanks usher!
Lit. Loved it. Thanks.
Damnnnn, kinda saw him in a new light cuz of this video❤
It seems most achievers speak thru a common human flaw that everyone is capable of achieving what they have.
I love your work. Few people are as ambitious as you. Unfortunately, life is not a walk in the park. As the saying goes, everyone is the creator of their own happiness. I must say that you have made a great contribution in the field of musical culture. Congratulations. Way to go. I love everything about you. Obviously, you have a bunch of the right people around you. Bravo Jason. 👍💯🔥🔥🔥❤️
I like big think, but I always end up feeling depressed and anxious being that I have to check my optomistic wants and desires in life. I guess I'm the counter example of when someone doesnt get lucky, despite working hard.
What an inspiration. Thank you for sharing
Great interview! 🙌
Life is not easy man we should make it happen 😊
Imagine going down the dark street and he jumps behind you like Kenobi saying "Jason derulooooo"
Jason my mom is my Achilles Heel she’s 81 years old now with dementia I can see and feel her decline days ago I was pushing her back up to our Xmas holiday hotel room and she just broke down and started to cry there was nothing I could do no way I could form a battle plan to get her out of death and the forces of nature . I’m not ready for her to die I didn’t sign up to be born into this “world “ and certainly didn’t sign up to witness her falling apart and leave it . Mothers and grandmothers are the greatest treasure in the world they give us UNCONDITIONAL ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I don’t want anything else from another women she can’t rise to thier level of respect understanding empathy and forgiveness . Kanye West worked himself to death almost he has success and fame but when his mom died the poor soul suffered a nervous breakdown those moms that ❤️❤️❤️❤️ us we may fancy ourselves to be the baddest warrior in the Trojan War- but the greatest warriors in all of Greek Mythology Achilles had his Achilles Heel. Spend as much time with mom and grandma as you can when they die I’m all alone in an indifferent and infinite Universe.
🎶 JASOOON DERUULOO 🎶
jaaasoon deruuloooooo (shimmy yea shimmy yea biaaatch)
Swallalalalalalalalalalaaaa
The flaw I have with famous entertainers is that they've learned the art of making people believe they grew up like us and continue to. Or that their mentality is similar to us in the general population. Giving people perhaps the false hope that it's perhaps possible to one day never have to think about a dollar ever again.
But then again, most self-help talk is just that, false hope for the desperate looking for kind words and platitudes.
Swalla hits me different
This man is the complete opposite of insecure 🥴 who picked him for this?
because apperently he succeeded at making you think he's like that
I’m very very hard on myself. Thank you for this
What he should really get real about is his RUclips channel
why would i care about jason derulo in this economy.
Because successful people are still people. Someone like him constantly being judged and critiqued 24\7 will have a harder time dealing with there insecurities than the average person. You should always assume you have something to learn from someone, regardless of if they're homeless or live in a mansion
@@HeyItsSunday I know what you mean and I support that, but being popular doesn’t mean being a wiser person. An interview to someone who actually studied anthropology, philosophy or psychology or any other matters that are more related to the topic, will not only ensure that it will provide a more relevant information but also that it could be helpful and useful. But here we have a famous who only talked about his successful career.
@@dobleheilAlso being popular doesn't mean you're not wise
@@dobleheil you can still learn from people that aren't wise. You learn to avoid being like them.
@@dobleheilyou say "only" as if it was something completely normal and not hard to achieve what he did. You can probably learn so much more important stuff to become more successful in life achievments (which is of course subjective) from him than any other philosopher could tell you.
❤❤❤
😂 I can do all the time. No matter!
Good unlikely collaborator
Oh, that guy. He posts pre-recorded reactions to unedited content he takes from others.
You can't outwork a bad diet.
Cheaters getting platforms for their insecurity… what a world
Jason Derulo is well known for singing and rapping about women who twerk in front of the cameras and expose their bare chests in the worst possible moment. Seems like he's trying to improve himself foe the better.
was hoping for some actual authenticity and humility here. this was disappointing.
Jason Derulooo
I don't know how this started but it needs to stop: please put some socks on. 😓
i missed his older music instead of this more generic and overly sexual stuff.
Looks like they finally run out of content.
Shite
This was really underwhelming.
😴😴
Waaait.....he has asthma?
Big think, according to your comment section, you seem to attract some real nimrods to your channel
As in famous hunters?
Translated: "Help me Big Think, they dont think like I do!"
Talk about dumbing down a channel. Jeez.
