I write an in-depth post every 1-2 months. And I think until someone gets a huge subscriber base it's meaningless to write articles on a weekly basis (but still many famous bloggers just don't do that). Because they carry a Unique Value Proposition and why they just don't care about that. As you said, the quantity was just a fad and the funeral is over. :)

Sometimes the SEO difficulty may be higher or lower, but if you find a low-hanging fruit opportunity like the keyword you mentioned, I would definitely go after it.

Be realistic, don't try and pitch expectations that are set too high. You can figure out conservative projections by doing competitor/market research and looking at results from past projects you have worked on.

So true! Earlier it was Ahref, Buzzsumo etc. to do the research and you killed it with UberSuggest. It is the best SEO tool and hope to see more integrations. Just a feedback about DA, I see some difference with other tools. You're the best and doing a great service to fellow entrepreneurs.
It depends on the topic. If it's ok with 1,500 then good to finish it. Don't crap extra 500 words only for increasing word count.. Well! Neil says.. 2,000 word is good number for a blog post.
This is a great tutorial on how to use Ubersuggest. I’ve discovered that many blogs in my niche get a ton of search traffic for odd things, though. One blog gets a ton of traffic for that pregnant giraffe. Like, that’s their #1-5 posts?! Yet they do get tons of traffic from Pinterest on topics in their niche. Many bloggers in this niche totally ignore Google SEO just for this reason. I wish there was a way to get SERPS for that visual search engine!
Ubersuggest is definitely the best free keyword research tool in the world. I use it to help my client ranking their keyword (ipad pos system in malaysia) in page 1 top 10. My client company is genius pos system. Now ranking in position 6.7

Backlinks are just one piece of the puzzle. Definitely important but need to produce quality content that will help your target user.

Editing pages can affect ranking! I'd be careful when editing pages that are ranking. Give it some time though, it may bounce back :)

Most of the time you either won't hear back or you'll get a 'no'. You just have to keep doing outreach :) It's not easy but it's worth it.

You can target both! They will both be helpful traffic to have on your blog. The lower volume is more likely to convert.
