The thing is, they literally can't, the FCC sold UHF band, and every channel in the area has an occupant, in-market or out-market. The engineers misstepped years ago, and they can't get out now (until maybe ATSC 3.0)

@@EllySensei they could've moved to a uhf channel before the repack around 2017. they just didn't.
