@RolledUpCrunchie ill definitely be working on it, but at the moment I am in the process of moving to a new state for work. It'll be updated, just might take a little bit with my work schedules.
I agree it is helpful, but with these controls you won't need SAS. SAS personally is a handicap imo, because it dampens your true potential of pull. To each their own, but I personal don't use SAS.
Glad i was able to help mate!! Pass it around for anyone else needing help. I'll be updating it from time to time when i get better combinations set up and worked over.
The rudder is used with L2 and R2, but to be able to utilize zoom you would put L1 as the Modifier and L2 and R2 as you buttons to zoom in and out. Hope this helps.
with triangle as throttle maximum and square as throttle minimum you should be able to get full functionality of power. make sure you have the slider for hold for wep turned off as well, which will allow you to use afterburner in jets as well as wep in prop driven aircraft.
@@Godlover214-d5j when you go into the option to configure it youll have a bind for maximum and minimum so that your able to raise and lower the radar's elevation. You also need to disable constant radar elevation in your air battles options. Once you turn that off you will be able to tilt the radar to whichever you want it to.
Hey i need some help. I copied all the controls you showed in the video and the plane is soooo unstable that i cant even go straight. Furthermore, for some reason it just wants to go upwards on its own and i tried increasing dead zone and changing sensitivity but it doesn't help at all. Please help. Aside from that thank you cause you are the one of 2 guys in the whole internet that have made a video for controls just for controllers
@TonisAntonis.. what plane were you trying to fly that was goons upwards on its own? Some planes, like the spitfire tend to climb on takeoff, so you have to give some negative elevator trim to help level it out. For the settings I have set it is more tailored for a "softer " touch when flying. If it's too sensitive lower the sensitivity for the roll and pitch and it shouldn't be too twitchy and unstable.
@@RaPtOrScOpE1 I am a beginner and I'm starting of from the french tree. I got my first 2.0 rating yesterday. I experimented a little bit with older (the ones im using now) and modern aircrafts and i figured out that elevator trim does help. However after balancing the trim its still a little unstable even after takeoff. And the problem appeared on the modern aircraft i used as well. Do you have something to say on that? For the instability of the aircraft what sensitivity do you think would be ideal? Edit: forgot to say thanks for responding 😂 So thanks for responding
@TonisAntonis.. Firstly, congratulations on starting with sim. It's a big step up in difficulty learning to fly sim but once you get the hang of flying it'll be a breeze. Secondly, when taking off in propeller driven aircraft ot will definitely be a little squirrely, because propeller driven aircraft have propeller torque, which tends to want to pull the aircraft to the right or left depending on the direction of rotation. It takes a little of trim as well as countering the torque with moving the stick opposite of the torque until you get the aircraft up to cruising speeds and then it should be more manageable. It's a mix of trial and error and patience in flight to find a sweet spot in the stick and it'll settle out. Keep working at it and mess with sensitivities of your pitch and roll so that it makes it easier to handle, depending if you have a softer touch or are heavier on the stick. It just depends on how you want the stuck to behave.
@@RaPtOrScOpE1 thanks. I'll try your recommendations. However i have some new information about the problem that might help. I found out that with pointer aim the aircraft remains steady while with the problem we're talking about appears in the sim . Idk if this helps anywhere but it might 🤷♂️
@mathewhoneycutt691 awesome mate! I was recording the video from my ps5 at that moment, but I'm going to be recording an updated version from pc once I get the chance.
@rolerdel2900 first, how are you connecting the controller. Wired or bluetooth? Secondly, is it showing binds not as the specific controller buttons, but as odd binds? And thirdly how are you playing, war thunder standalone or through steam?
@avalanches-905 a regular controller? What would you consider a "regular controller"? Second part to my question is instead of overwriting your preset, why not make a new preset to test the settings? The ps5 controller is about as regular as you can get, unless your speaking of an Xbox controller. What issues did you have with the settings?
@RaPtOrScOpE1 srry I jus follow my steps back what I went wrong; I'm jus a little over confused I'm not experience with air planes, I got on war thunder; doe to I got banned from battlefield 2042
@@avalanches-905 There is a little learning curve to moving to war thunder. the controls i have in the video are predominately set up for being able to play air simulator, which is more difficult than arcade and realistic. once you get more used to the controls it does become easier.
This is amazing. Can you do one for just regular ARB?
I can play with a few settings and see what i can come up with mate!

Hey man, great stuff! I am still a bit confused as the left-right rudder has the same function as the view in Battle Axis. What am I missing here?
