  • Recently I've had a group of friends who have come out later in life tell me that they feel guilty about coming out because they don't feel as valid as people who've known they are queer since they are really young. But to be honest, at this point in my life I have more friends who came out in their adulthood then I had friends who identified as queer when I was in grade school. In this video, I'm going to reflect on this a little bit.

Shekoli, Ben. I'm a mom of queer kids. My dad, born in 1930, had a motto: Love is tender, not gender. I'll be getting that tattoo in his memory next month. Anyway, I wanted to thank you for your videos. I'm also a midwife and lactation consultant who was searching youtube for videos to educate me and, hopefully one day, educate any trans clients I will be honoured to serve. Yaw^ko (thank you, in Oneida) for your videos. You are an amazing human being.
