    Curious to know how good the diff seals are. On the G2 XMRs, the rear diff seals are junk after 3000ish kilometres results in having to drain water/oil in them after every ride. I did pull the diff and replaced the seals so fingers crossed.

    Every wheel spacer I have tried seem slightly bigger than 4x137 because the can am is actually 4x136.5ish. Putting 14s on my outlander hd7 pro because the aftermarket 12s I have been trying have no clearance for the breaks or only a few millimeters. 14s should of been stock from factory. Found a nice set of beed locks 14" bronze to match the sand color of the Xu. Not sure how big I can go with the tires currently have some 27 that are closer to a 28 and have plenty of room 29.5 is probably the biggest it would take without a lift of spacers.

      Yeah I think you could go up to a 30/31 safely without too much trimming. It is funny how the lug pattern is off a little bit. I just noticed that this morning.

    Why not just run 32”. it is only 1/2” difference. Will 32” run without rubbing?

    Definitely not worth it. The machine is great without all that. Shims/ spacer etc can be a lil dangerous. But if it works for you then drive hard and safe my brother. I will be subscribing because I have the same machine

    • @MudPuppyOffroad
      @MudPuppyOffroad  Месяц назад

      Spacers are totally safe if installed properly. However most people don't clean the surfaces and torque them enough... I run spacers on all 6 of my machines and I've never had a failure but then again you know I checked the torque on them occasionally and do smart things like that. I even have spacers on my 6,000 lb Lexus lol

    • @MudPuppyOffroad
      @MudPuppyOffroad  Месяц назад

      You can't say it's not worth it because you don't ride my trails. Without at least a 32 and a lift this thing would get stuck every 4 ft

    Hey what would be the best mud tire for clay on a honda 350 2wd

    Hey mud puppy I just got my Honda 520 it’s a foot shift. And it’s shifting into higher gears just fine. But when I down shift it’s very aggressive. It will chirp the tires when down shifting. The bike only has 1 hour on it. I’m not sure if this is normal for a new bike in break in period or not. I was hoping you can give me your opinion

    • @MudPuppyOffroad
      @MudPuppyOffroad  Год назад

      That doesn't seem right at all

    • @micahfairchild7806
      @micahfairchild7806 Год назад

      After watching your video I appears I have the right amount of slack in the clutch. I will try to adjust the screw as you showed but the bike is also on stock tires. When I shift down it feels like I’m slamming on the brakes really hard at the same time

    • @MicahFairchild.
      @MicahFairchild. Год назад

      @@MudPuppyOffroadI adjusted it as shown in the video. Now when I down shift it sounds like something is slipping. It still aggressively brakes but instead of chirping the tires it’s now making a mechanical slipping noise. Any other recommendations. I may contact the dealer.

      My buddy’s 2022 Honda 420 does it to it’s normal but it will make you have to replace the bearings like crazy if you decide to put it on all-terrain tires I would recommend a more gummy tire like Aztec or acp frontlines

    @justpigginit 11 месяцев назад

    Lol I gotta point something out brotha. No hate ether just an observation. You can’t say don’t be that guy and run spacer on your bike. While being “that guy” that try’s to smash 33s under a bike without extend arms and or a quality lift by cutting trimming and attempting to reroute.

    • @MudPuppyOffroad
      @MudPuppyOffroad  11 месяцев назад +1

      You clearly totally misunderstood my point about spacers. Let me try to explain it better for you. Running very wide offset or spacers like a lot of people do because they like the look actually hurts your ability to clear a large Tire on the front of almost every single vehicle. In addition it puts a bunch of stress on your steering and ball joints and bearings which is why I say not to do it.

    • @MudPuppyOffroad
      @MudPuppyOffroad  11 месяцев назад

      The large tires aren't about the looks it's about increasing ground clearance which is actually a performance benefit

      @@MudPuppyOffroad Hey again man not trying to get in a pissing match with ya. Just to let you know I even subbed I love everything to do with mudding. I do understand your train of thought but I tend to disagree with it is all. I believe running spacers when adding additional height to the bike wether that be lift or tire size only increases stability of the bike. I would say wether you run spacer or not your still trimming plastics and modifying ether way right? I understand there is added stress to certain components such as ball joints but there are upgrades such as Keller to negate those effects with spacers. It’s no different than the strain bigger tires like those 33s put on the axles and diffs.
      Im only saying this from my experience messing around with certain set ups. Right now I’m running S3 extended A arms and swing arms with 1 1/2 spacers in the front 2” in the back stock can am bead locks with 32-8-14 Assassinators love the way the bike handles its way more stable adding the spacers compared to without and I’ve had no adverse side effects on bearings or ball joints. I am running Keller ball joints stock bearings. I have however eatin up a few axle and a front diff from the strain of the bigger tires possible from the nitrous as well😵‍💫
