Free clutch mod would be just grind the stock weight , at least until a clutch kit comes out . maybe see if a x3 or one of epi primary and secondary spring work in the 700.
Hey mud puppy I just got my Honda 520 it’s a foot shift. And it’s shifting into higher gears just fine. But when I down shift it’s very aggressive. It will chirp the tires when down shifting. The bike only has 1 hour on it. I’m not sure if this is normal or not for break in period or not. I was hoping you can give me your opinion
Do you recommend bringing it in to the dealership or should I put some hours on it and see what happens? I thought it may be possible because it’s new but I didn’t want to “break it in” and end up doing more harm then good
@@Dylan-gn9ol do you recommend I bring it in to a dealership for them to look at it or is it something I should drive and see if it gets better? I just didn’t want to drive it around in hopes for it to get better but only to cause more harm then good
My fourtrax 300 cuts out on really bumpy terrain. It does die if I let off for a few seconds. On the road it runs perfect. It has a new carb and clean tank. Any suggestions would be really appreciated! Been watching mudpuppy for years btw!
I would also try turning off the petcock and seeing if that changes the symptom it should run for a few minutes with a petcock shut off. If that changes the symptom you have a fuel related issue
Hey mud puppy going to stick some 28 aztexs on a 520. Do I need a wider rim in the back? My old 300 was narrower in the back and had to run wheel spacers. Am I going to run into that problem?
Most people just run 7-in wide rims all the way around with a 1 inch wheel spacer on the rear. But honestly it's pretty close if you don't want to mess with the spacer
Hey mud puppy I have buying a 2024 honda rubicon tomorrow. I was wondering what size tires you recommend and a good mud tire. I’m in south Louisiana. I was thinking some 28 inch aztex but didnt know if I can run 30s with no gear reduction
How comfortable is your wife riding 2 up? Does she have enough seat? I really like the machine but the seat doesn’t look very passenger friendly with that cooler hole thing on the back rack.
Not my wife but the seat is just big enough for the two of us but she's pretty tiny. If I was going to ride a passenger a lot I would definitely add some foot braces
That was some good old fashion woodsman engineering with that piece of plastic. 👍
I gave a deposit on one this morning. Will have it in 2 weeks. I m glad you still like it lol
nice thumbnail
RUclips knows how to pick them LOL
I get stressed out being stuck alone. Lol. Good job making it happen
They are heavier, but they are nice. With matched tires.
Winch out videos are the best
nice video. great recovery.
That spider would've had me out in about 2 seconds 😅
Just checked out a pro hd7 . Looks like I found my 1st quad.
GREAT video thank you!!
Glad you liked it!
Nice team work

when will there be a extended ridding video on the 700
Editing some footage right now but it probably won't be live on RUclips until next week get on the patreon page if you want stuff earlier ;-)

Same thing happening on my 2024 rubicon. Just hit 10 hours and it’s getting better and smoother

If that doesn't make a difference I would start looking into a wire harness issue probably start by swapping with a known good coil pack and plug wire
