Eating on public transport is not acceptable when the person sitting next to you or immediately across from you is stuffing their face with something really smelly, usually some revolting fast food probably not putrchased on board.
If the train does not offer onboard catering I consider this perfectly acceptable if you are a northern trains traveller especially however budgets nowadays do not have the ability to invest in these sort of things I live on the Furness line and with catering you would need an extra carriage because without that you would struggle to get a catering trolly though the carriages as 3 carriages nowadays is worse than the old days 5 carriages hauled or first north western airport services and with the current budget climate it would make more sense to have what we have and people bringing their own food but oh well it is what is is if you’re comments a joke then you don’t need to read all of it 😂
