    I don't speak Punjabi and I was a little unsure how you got the figures for the voltage. However, this video in a language I don’t speak made more sense to me about calculating the μf than any I’ve seen supposedly in English. Thank you

    Neat and clear explanation. There may be an option to include if no voltage regulator not in place would be more informative.I am not from this field but just on hobby in learning.

      If there is no voltage regulator you can use zener diode to control the output voltage.

    Thanx.....please show the calculation for voltage and capacity of the filter cap used for a capacitive dropper(transformer less supply) along with the wattage calculation of zener in case I wish to clamp the dc O/P with a zener instead of regulator IC

    Sir i want to run a 1000watt 48v bldc motor with its controller. I want to run this system with 48v 25amp smps and not using any battery as power source.
    To effectively reduce the ripple effect produced at the output terminals of the smps, what rating capacitor to use as filter and How/ where in the circuit (parallel or series) ?

    Sir, if we use 12v step down transformer then it will be high cost to make a 12volt adapter, make such a 12v adapter which minimize our high cost.

      Same calculation can work, as 5 v zener require 5 to 15 volts on input
