@@userbunny I’ve heard of sixnine, but I haven’t listened to their music. I prefer the music that I like, which is mostly from the 80s or 90s. And a lot of that is MJ songs, just because I really enjoy some of the songs from thriller, bad, dangerous and HIStory

28:00 - 28:40 - You guys had me rolling with laughter at those ad-libs...it was literally the other day that I was watching MJ do his thing on Oprah and I love the fact that Michael is always so pure in his animal self. It doesn't even have to make any logical sense, he's just like, "Hah!". I think of it as the capital letter of the sentence of the moonwalk. There are so many concerts where you can hear him do a "hah" or a "HO!" before the move...LOL.

Michael didn't dance because of his leg so he had to sit in a chair and he was a little bit limping when he stood up in one of the Remember the time performances

How have I never seen RTT rehearsal? Wow. All these rehearsals are awesome and really makes me wish Mike had actually sung more live during later concerts. This is why the BAD Tour will always be my favorite, the energy, the living vocals etc.

32:40 it was performed at the full dress rehearsal in Munich the day before the first show. It was cut because the men’s costume had a wardrobe malfunction which made MJ uncomfortable.
Idc idc idc idc idc they should have done it. It was his most important song and video at the time. I just don’t understand why he didn’t do it. Especially during the HBO concert since that was the only US show technically

These rehearsals are wonderful.I love to watch it.Michael supervise everything,he is awesome.If you listen Glenda's tapes(which I listen,not very proud about it),he is talking about these rehearsals and where he has a concert,he was talking about his head hurting him,about a girl and many more.All the best.

Jennifer Batten (guitarist) wasn’t present for this rehearsal tape hence why it sounds like it’s missing something ie Thriller and Beat It. I believe this was in or late May/ early June 92.
Yes that’s Kenny Ortega. Around 15:16 telling MJ what’s after RWY. Kenny worked on various tours/projects - the dangerous world tour (92-93), the Brunei show (96), the history world tour (96-97), and one off shows in 99 & 01. He spoke a lot about his time with MJ between 2009 and 2011 yet Kenny hasn’t talked much about his experiences on the other tours since.
Her name is Yuko Sumida and I think she also danced in Dangerous choreography at that time.

I think it was Siedah, but I could be wrong, who once said that Michael performed only, or maybe put more priority on, his #1 hits & even then they were on stage for 2 hours! That if he performed all his hits, they could be on stage for like a week! LOL

Does anyone know if the rehearsals and tour took place before or after he did the Soul Train Awards performance of Remember the Time?
that's a good question! I am personally not sure
It depends on which tapes you watch. Some of them are from '92 and some from '93. Those from '93 were recorded rather after The Soul Train. It's visible that Michael was completely low during those rehearsals and didn't perform The Way You Make Me Feel at all due to allegations which appeared in august '93, just days or weeks before the start of the second leg of the tour.

Did you ever notice during SOOML in the Bucharest DVD Michael's hair style changes from a pony tail to a bun? I think they cut in a different show where the girl's reaction was more exaggerated just so the show footage would be more entertaining.

That's so funny y'all young folks talkin' about the Jackson 5 tunes. That makes us ol' folks reminisce. Just for another 20 yrs and y'all will be doing the same thing. My 1st J5 45 was, ABC - back in '70. Rockin' Robin (on the flip side) was my favorite, such a sweet tune. Then Can You Feel It came and blew it ALL out.

The setlist was a mix of the bad tour late 88-89 arrangement and the new dangerous songs added as well. Kenny had to force MJ to cutdown the setlist cause it was close to 2 1/2 - 3 hours on stage hence taking out RWY and RTT for example.
