- Moraira is a charming coastal town located on the Costa Blanca, nestled between Javea and Calpe in the La Marina Alta district. With approximately 320 sunny days a year and average temperatures above 20°C, Moraira offers a climate that is neither too hot nor too cold, often considered one of the most equitable in the world by the WHO.
The town is home to the beautiful Ampolla Beach, situated next to an 18th-century fortress perched on a rock. El Portet, another of Moraira’s stunning beaches, features fine sand and crystal-clear waters. Both beaches are proudly awarded the prestigious Blue Flag for cleanliness.

We miss Moraira so much, we visit usually about 6 times a year but due to the virus, we have not been since February 2020. It is so sad seeing everyone in the masks but soon this will all go away. It is the most beautiful place in Spain and we cannot wait to go back there.
Yes, I agree, hopefully this situation will end soon. Moraira is one of my favorite towns in Europe.
i hear you, im 44 and have been visiting moriara since i was 5, almost every year...i love that place! i was lucky that my parents bought a house there in the mid 80s. it has a special place in my heart

This brings back so many memories of being a child here, my grandfather who has now passed had a villa here. We went every year, such a beautiful town. I miss it very much.

I miss Moraira so much. I spent lovely three months over there with my family in 2014 (May to July). Back then it was already busy during the month of May. Close by is another awesome beach Cala del Moraig, maybe a 15/20min drive due to hills and cliffs. And I was hoping to see my favorite ice cream shop Heladeria but you didn't go that direction. Anyways, superb video, thanks for bringing up memories. Other towns in the area have the same charm (Calp, Xabia, Denia)

Awww! Breathtaking! We were in Alicante last year, absolutely loved it. We'd like to go to a smaller town NEAR beautiful Alicante. I'm watching your videos and can't decide which one!! Help please! (We have a 10yo active child, who loves the sea and Spain ❤🇪🇸)

Thank you for subscribing to my channel! Well, first of all south of Alicante is cheaper than northern towns however, I would strongly recommend Calpe (north of Alicante) for a vacation with a 10 years old child. It has two big well maintained sandy beaches, very nice trails, the famous Ifach rock, a lunapark ad many more. You will not go wrong with this choice. It is about 45 minutes from Alicante airport. I have 5 walking tours in Calpe on my channel, check them out. Let me know how it was, if you decide to visit it :)

Yes, Moraira is special. Just one hour from Villajoyosa. Make sure you visit El Portet beach, very beautiful :)
@@PlacesandBeaches yes me and my folks have a place next to villa on montiboli hills, villajoyosa is lovely unspoilt town. Id say its only 45mins drive from villa to moraira on the n332, altea is a beautiful mind blowing town too esp where the church is!
